I learn so much by coming here to your channel regularly! Not just about everything powersaw, but also valuable life lessons. Your a great teacher and awesome mentor. And I know I'm not the only one here that feels the same way. I come here for so many reasons and can't thank you enough for taking your time to do this!

this is fuel for me friend , and this is how this place will remain , i have a vision of strong self respecting Men Women and children living in peace with one another lifting each other up . there is much weakness shown, in men specifically these days . and the fix is simple but not easy sometimes. of coarse this is only an observation from someone who has chosen to share himself to the world and set up my channel to see, and ALLOW ALL COMMENTS, that I make this assumption. Honesty breeds freedom . its only when you create a world for yer self through dishonesty and guilt , shame , insecurities and all other derivatives of fear ,giving yer self no reason to feel good about yerself, that it is only by stomping on others can you subconsciously feel better about yer own plot . you did not ask for this opinion. but im givin' it . I love you buddy , yer humility shows huge promise for your self made invincibility which is surely under construction . its easy to feel in you stay the coarse friend . Humbly, Buckin'

I bore cut leaners ALL the time. To me if you understand what you are doing its a cut that a NOVICE Faller can achieve great success. And its a safe cut. A trigger cut is just awesome. The tree leaves when YOU want it to. Ive learned to use a Pulling chain too. The cut seams like More work and harder but its NOT. This Cut is super easy when you understand what your doing. When you are done your face start your bore away from the face. Then work your way up to your holding wood SLOWLY. This way you can get your hinge set up really good BEFORE you let the tree go. You explained this sooo well. You should do a video on Blocking or Chunking. I Know you dont get hung up or have entanglement often you avoid that situation with knowledge on how to avoid it. New tree people are going to get hung up ALL the time. They dont see the lane they dont see the shot the lean the branches. This situation is More dangerous then using the saw itself. Show people how to Block a tangled tree start on the Compression side and release the tree from the Tension side safely. Sorry for the LONG story but your message is GRAND BROTHER!!!

I cut my first leaning ash tree yesterday, and after careful planning I realised only a bore cut would do the job, I put my hat on the ground slightly away from it's go to natural lean, and dropped it perfectly right on my hat..thanks Buckin'..it's akin to a perfect meditative state I swear

VARTAN!!!! Amateur cinematographer!!!! Buckin, beautiful use of the bore technique, and thank you for describing it the way you do as just another tool we can use when it makes sense. The way I was taught in the northeastern US, we use it constantly in lots of scenarios because the wood and the land and the forest density often lend themselves to it. But to the folks that are skeptical and perhaps hardened in the heart against the technique, you present it very well, and again it’s an example of how you are a force multiplier in this world, you are bringing people together. Thank you, love you, be well and continue to do good work.

Tip: DONT FORGET TO USE YOUR SIGHTS WHEN COMING IN FROM THE BACK TO SET YOUR HINGE. It’s easy to leave one accidentally tapered, V shaped, or cut through a corner on the far side. Religiously check your sights as you come in from the back after boring in well behind your hinge. If they’re gunned to the same point as your face cut? The hinge has to be even all the way across.
