I love how most biomes have their own wolf variant, it makes wolves easier to find and it’s going to add a lot more life to a lot of biomes.

This should be called the “Dogs and bogs” Update

One suggestion: Wolves could now have new mechanics like howling. This would give an even greater immersion when we were in the forest and from afar we heard a howl echoing in the forest another suggestion: The Wolves could have new animations. When they were sitting, they could lie down like the foxes in the game. Another cool animation would be that when tamed and attacking an enemy they growl

After putting down Minecraft for about a year and a half, I opened up the KZfaq channel saw this. I have never been so exited to play Minecraft again in my life.

So if there are 9 wolf variants, 16 collar colors, and 5,713,438 dye combinations, then there are 822,735,072 possible permutations of tamed wolves. Definitely not enough.

You should make an achievment called "Man's Best Friend!" where u have to tame all the wolf variants!

I love the "Gone fishing" reference to Grian's latest Hermitcraft episode, where he pranked GoodTimesWithScar at the permit office and left a sign saying the exact same, further embracing his fisherman life. xD

Mojang absolutely KILLED it with this one. They took feedback from the community to improve existing features, as well as new ones that have been suggested AND totally unexpected ones that are amazing! And to top it all off, they added clips of Minecrafters having fun with new features. Amazing work, Minecraft team.

Make an advancement where you need to collect every dog variant just like cats. And call it 'A Complete Dogalogue' or something

This looks awesome! Also, here's a cool new mob idea! (I am on a mission to write a new mob recommendation on every Mojang video until they add one) The new mob is a Stone Golem, which will be a player-spawned mob similar to the Iron Golem. The golem will be spawned with an arrangement of certain chiselled stone types, and upon spawning is extremely loyal to its creator. The golem can be stationed like a statue at the entrances of bases and upon activation (possibly via a redstone signal) will spring to life and attack any intruders. The Golem's main form of attack is to charge at their enemy and try to slam them with their heavy arms, however, they will also have a special ability where it can slam into the ground, sending a shockwave towards their attacker, similar to the Wardens' sonic shriek. As it loses health, it will begin to crumble into smaller stones until breaking apart, dropping cobblestones and possibly rarer loot. The fact that we’re getting both wolf buffs and wolf customization is cool. Wolves are a classic part of Minecraft that needed an update. I for one am very excited.

Honestly, I'm happy they listened to the community. The new wolf variants and strong wolf armor is something I could only dream of as a child.

My Suggestion: Can you please add a glowing dog collar? I always lost my dog in dark. It will based on glowing sign system - when you right-click the dog with an glowing ink sac, the dog collar will starts to glow with ist color. It will be cool for cats too!

Suggestion: Cats can now attack you when you attack them, and they also sometimes fight eachother. There will also be torbie cats, tortoiseshell cats, Bengal cats and lilac cats.

8 types of wolves are very beautiful. In fact, it should be present in all animals. Different chickens, sheep, cows, etc. Different species like this would be nice to have a reek.

While this is appreciated, in my opinion the armor just puts a bandage on the bigger issue of "companion" AI. Players probably still won't take them on journeys because their behavior is burdensome. They dive off cliffs and into lava, or they get stuck in an ocean chunk because you're flying too quickly, potentially being stranded forever. The armor just means they won't die from some of that behavior. If every "companion" mob gets better AI, I think that's even better than the armor

If I remember correctly you only need to breed about 19 wolves in armadillo armor to beat a warden

You should make it so, like woth skeletons becoming strey and zombies becoming drowns, if a skeleton drowns in water in a swamp biome it will become a bogged

Bedrock updates: add-ons, essentially modding for bedrock (just more official) & hardcore on the way (meaning loads of random bug related deaths r gonna be worked on)! 1.20.5 features: improved wolf armor, dye-able & much stronger, & the best update yet, more wolf variants! Definitely one of the best Mc monthly’s so far!

Best Minecraft news ever in my opinion

I know very few will read this, but what so ever. I think copper bulbs used to have the best redstone features that got removed,(i request you by my heart, please bring that, please 🥺). Bundles can be fix, just by repurposing the recipe manue that pops up after clicking on the recipe book. And automations like putting a bundle and items in the crafting grid craft bundle with that item in it, and only dispensers can drop internal storage of bundles(i Know dispensers chooses items randomly but when it chooses bundles it will dope last slot in that bundle and drop that bundle if theirs nothing in it.)and it will be fun that bundle can store any item but that Item only occupies one slot with a stack of one in it(just a pre fixed number of slot in it. No need to count!) it will be great if the bundles can store shulker boxes but the shulker box can't store the bundle (it's already done with shulker, why not expend that list, why not.)

i’m noticing this update is adding a lot of different variations of already existing things, like the breeze (a wind version of blaze) the bogged (poison version of skeleton) different wolf breeds (or textures). even some items, like wolf armor (a wolf version of horse armor) and the wind charge (wind version of fire charge)

I AM SO EXCITED. Thank you, Minecraft! 🐺🤍🐾🏔️ Here’s some rambling…. I do have a few requests, but I’m just SO HAPPY about the new wolves that I don’t mind if y’all don’t want to hear my suggestions. Basically, I was wondering if we could get three more cat variants, at least! The new breeds could include tortoiseshell cats, a plain gray tabby cat without any white on ‘em, and a flame-point Siamese. Additionally, maybe even, a Snowshoe cat, a white cat with black spots, and a white cat with orange spots. Ehhh…. That’s six now! Oh, and a few more fox variants. Like, a black fox, maybe there could be a black fox with a white tipped tail. Maybe different shades of orange foxes, too! I’ve already asked for a lot, so I’ll just stretch a LITTLE more…. I wish foxes could be tamed properly like wolves and cats! They have a sitting model, don’t they? 👀 But if none of that can be done, I really don’t mind! I’m just super grateful for the wolves! 🤍

In a time where companies only care about money and dont listen to their players, I gotta say that I am rally happy to be a part of this community. Thank you mojang for listening to us and making our best game in the world even better with every item. Love to all the developers

I'm really liking the new update strategy Mojang's used for 1.20 and 1.21: not going for an overarching theme from the start, just adding things they think are cool (and maybe naming the update near the end).

Gotta love how mojang actively updates the community on what’s going on behind the scenes. You would think more companies would do that.
