HELLO AGAIN! I return to KZfaq with a new video to celebrate BIGSNAX, which I had SO much fun with!!! Young Horses knocked it out of the park with this one, and I've been redoing this animatic for the past couple months to release today. Can you believe it's been a year since the last? I feel like I've improved so much, partly because I learned Storyboard Pro this year but also because my love for Bugsnax has inspired so much creativity in me. Here's to creating more of what I love! Thank you, YH, for the food ;o]

I cant really explain it but this is one of those super rare videos that makes me feel an indescribable emotion. When I watch it, I'm happy, sad, inspired, and all these other complex feelings. This is an amazing video and it honestly makes me want to improve myself. I've dabbled in music editing but for some reason, this video gave me the drive to actually study and learn how to use a professional DAW (digital audio workspace). I watch it every time I see it in my recommended which is practically every time I open KZfaq. I loved Bugsnax but it didn't really have a huge impact on me but this video has permanently changed how I see the game and characters for the better. 10/10 video. thank you for making it.

YEAH NO HONESTLY,,, it was really hard to fit in filbo too for that reason lmao. but it felt right for chandlo, triffany, eggabell, wiggle and gramble not to have panels like that!

I am gushing over how you draw grumpuses! The tails, the fluff, and oh my those paws! It looks so good! And Snorpy is actually really cute in the way you drew him! The grumpuses don’t even have tails but you made them fit their personality’s perfectly! It just looks so good! And the text boxes showing how they actually talk! Befficas being large Wasbuses being smaller and Snorpys being redacted! It’s all so well put together!

I recently got into the fandom, but I’ve watched this so many times in the mere weeks I’ve had this game. It’s so well put together, from your unique style of drawing the grumps to the timing of the visuals and the music. It fits together perfectly. And then the way you portray their emotions? You can see clearly how each character is feeling in each situation. Between their expressions or their body language- it’s so alive. And then the journalist is on a whole other level- that mixture of determination and reservation. Their goals and regrets. I could go on for hours about the little things. This animatic is what drew me deeper into the fandom, so I hope you know how special it is. Thank you for sharing this with us.

If I had a nickel for every time a fandom animatic set to a song by AJR wracked me with whole-body sobs in the wee hours of the morning, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. (aka this is beautifully made and i love this game and these characters and this song and all the work you put in!!!!)

Oh god, I'm bawling my eyes out. Like, I love drawing, but I'll never be as good as this. I love the Grumps looking more animalistic and I think the addition of tails really helps. This is probably the best thing I've ever seen in the Bugsnax community. There's so much attention to detail: The NO MORE BUGSNAX sign behind Beffica and Cromdo, Broken Tooth in the back of the last shot, MY GOD! Anyway, I'm gonna go cry in a corner now. I mean, I do that everyday, but this time it's because of Bugsnax. I know none of that really means a lot from some random dumb kid, but whatever. Thank you, good sir. I tip my metaphorical hat. Now back to crying in a corner...

I like how the little chat boxes are meant to represent their personality. Like Wambus,He has small text boxes because he doesnt talk much. Floofty,Has big chatboxes because shes known to talk alot about science.(And science is one thing she talks about daily). And Befficas chat boxes look big and small in sizes,meaning she is the most talkative and gossiping grumpus in the group.

Ive had this on my playlist instead of the actual song cause the animation is just so... omg.. Ive been looping it for like an hour now and i just like watching it on the side of my screen. I will never get over how you draw the grumpus's (especially beffica cause omg.. long tail.. ive been enlightened)

This song gives off such fun vibes. I can imagine someone deciding to go on an adventure to get away from the stress back home and it hits just right. Wonder if someone's animated Stardew Valley to this? It'd fit pretty well I think. If someone else hasn't done it, I just might attempt it. Also, the way you drew Wiggle is actually making me swoon, not gonna lie. I didn't think I could get any more gay, but here we are lol.
