I'm pretty sure it's Beffica -> Snorpy (skeleton lines up with the shorter arms) Floofty -> Beffica (they do at least one of beff's poses) Gramble -> Triffany (if you pay attention to his hands during his voiceline in the beginning he's moving as if he's supposed to have triffy's skeleton arm) and Wiggle -> Cromdo (process of elimination mostly) everything else seems accurate though :]

Ooh I think I can explain why the swapped animations are behaving so strangely! The characters' animations aren't stored as separate files for each action, but rather each character has one animation file with all their animations in one long sequence. They also each have a character file which determines the range of frames in the sequence to use for each action. Each character will have some different animations with different frame ranges, so they won't match up perfectly. Hence, for example, Shelda doing Chandlo's climbing animation while talking, and some of the characters randomly being in sleeping positions. I suppose swapping the animation files also swaps the associated skeleton/rig, causing the proportions to change too.

Also, Chandlo's animation of drinking snakwater while doing a handstand was likely near the very end of his animation file, beyond the frame range of the file he swapped with, so there was no animation to use (hence the T-pose).

So im guessing each grumpus have a unique animation sequences. Some sequences may not be the same for other grampuses. For example, animation #1 for Shielda is climbing but #1 for Tiffany is laying on her back. Every time a conversation starts, a specific sequence is chosen, which, may not appear coherently for the grampuses Well, this is just my hypothesis as a fellow game designer
