To commenters, this fridge works like a "swamp cooler", it works with evaporation of water through the pores of the clay. For the best results, these coolers work better in dry climates like Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada Southern California. The fridge has to "sweat" and it cant do that very well in very humid areas of the world. Just so you know.

I think this works on latent heat functioning. So it will be useful in hot and dry areas. Won't be useful in humid.

I really want one of these, I'm in America, but I live in Kentucky and the weather gets really bad... Tornadoes, thunderstorms, flooding, ice storms... Anyway It would be really cool to have a pretty looking thing like this setting on the counter that could fill in if I spend any time without power. About 12 years ago we spent a month without power after a really horrible ice storm. And we were about 3 days without power last year after a storm; Kentucky's most recent famous tornado. Anyway, it's really pretty and I think it would look good. Kind of sitting on the counter, I kind of wish someone would make the old ice boxes for that kind of situation, but nobody does. But this would do really well and it certainly looks better than a cooler.

After the business insider video, you need to have a sub title for your videos and option to buy these refs from abroad. Making the doors painted with help more to cool the food because it wont let light go in. Is the door flat enough to not let bugs go in?
