I've always wanted to upgrade the headlight on Red Rhino, my BMW R1100GS. Over the past years I looked at various options and decided to upgrade it before the night ride that we'll see during the dutch 1000.

Hi, thanks for your videos! I own an old R 850 GS and I wanted to ask you, because you can't see much in the video, how do you connect the Daytime Running Lights to the headlight wires of your 1100 GS? can you help me? Thanks and keep going!

Hey Marfred, I've connected they daytime running to my parklight, but if you want to have it always on you need to run some additional wires

Hey Mister Mano, Je kunt het bracket laten printen. In de beschrijving van de video staat een link naar het bestand om het te laten printen. Er zijn verschillende bedrijven die dat kunnen of misschien ken je iemand met een 3D printer ;). De versie die ik heb laten printen heeft metalen draadbussen (heated inserts) in plaats van geprinte plastic inserts.

Hi, ff een vraag, is die koplamp goed gekeurd voor Europa dat je ermee de openbare wegen op kan? Kan jij tegen vergoeding zo een frame 3D printen? Bvd voor je antwoord. Mvrgr Raymond

Ik heb het zwarte frame nog, die kun je overkopen als je interesse hebt. Op de lamp staat DOT SAE E9, ik heb geen onderzoek gedaan dat het juiste type keuring is en de documentatie is beknopt 😅 amzn.to/3nBcPoU heeft een uitgebreidere lijst aan goedkeuringen, maar zoals gezegd ik heb er geen studie van gemaakt ;)

You cannot buy it, it is a piece that's printed with a 3D printer. I found a local guy to do it for me, but if you Google you'll find professional companies that offer this service. The file you need is linked down in the description. Where are you from?

@@michaelbmw1931 yes, correct. For the cover you have 2 options. Print the cover with the plastic inserts or go for the more robust option of heated inserts. You can send me a mail if you want more info.
