End Mount came out Sweet! Not how I originally thought. I didn't have heat shrink large enough to go over the whole tee. I ended up putting Heat Shrink over the PVC pipe and twisting it in to the tee from one side. It took a bit to do this. After getting the covered PVC to the threads on the other side of the tee it got very difficult to turn. I used a pair of slip joint pliers to finish twisting until both sides were even. I checked it with a tape measure as I went. Using the slip joint pliers chewed up the heat shrink. So I trimmed it back to the tee with a utility knife. The PVC isn't going anywhere. I was worried toward the end I might get the PVC stuck and that made me think of other ways to tackle the issue thought about filling the Tee with Hot Glue, silicone caulk or gorilla glue. I didn't need to though. Very happy with the results. Also I found using Galvanized Components worked out a couple bucks cheaper at Home Depot. I didn't have to buy any PVC my bike came with a PVC fork spacer so I used that. I really like this solution it seems like a way better option than buying a manufactured mount and so much more versatile. 😎 🤘

That was me! Great idea about the liquid nails.

Considering I would still need to buy a board to attach a mount off the internet, buying the parts was much cheaper. The wood was the most expensive item. For the QR mounts, I could not find a 110mm version online (the kid bikes have boost hubs) so this was my solution.

For the quick releases, I bought the rod at a hardware store. For the thru axles, I am using the bike’s maxles.
