I'm a guy, a biological male, born and raised, I see videos all the time of grown ass men getting into shouting matches with eachother or they straight up beat the shit out of eachother and I don't fuckin understand it AT ALL, how do these situations come about? Seriously, I'm 25, as an adult, I've never found myself in a situation that was anywhere near getting physical and it's not like I'm a bitch either, it's not like I find myself in these situations and just back down. Dudes must be walking around constantly at 95%, just royalty pissed off, a ticking time bomb with massive egos and pride that remains injured. The closest I ever got to being in a fight as an adult (which honestly looking back, the man was never going to swing on me or anything, it's just the only time I can recall being intentionally confrontational as an adult) was at a Walmart (classy, I know), I was with my ex, we split up, she was going to grab some beer, I was going to grab some snacks. When we met back up she looked kinda shaken, I asked her "what's wrong?", she told me "you see that guy?" (She pointed at a young skinny Mexican kid, no older than 18 or 19 that was only maybe 8 ft from us), I said "yes", she responded with "right after we split up, he started following me, I kept trying to put distance between us but he stayed just out of arm reach to me, he's way further away now than the entire time we've been apart. he's making me feel really uncomfortable, he was close enough that he could have grabbed me if he wanted and wont leave me alone". I'm pretty sure he heard her because when she said it, he quickly spun around, acting like he didn't hear her and acting like he wasn't following her. I got probably more pissed off than I've ever been towards a stranger before, I yelled "aye" while taking a few strides towards him, then when I got up to him I aggressively laid into him "Listen you little fucking creep, who do you think you are following a young lady around like that? You fucking tower over her and scared the hell out of her, what the fuck is wrong with you?" as I was saying this he started walking quickly, then full blown running, he wasn't going to stay and argue, he was caught and trying to get outie. That's it, my entire experience being aggressive with strangers as an adult male, how the hell do you guys get in fist fights so often?
