Bill Clinton interviewed by Arsenio Hall. Last portion of interview with Hillary Rodham Clinton. Interesting viewpoints expressed. Some still echo today. I'd prefer to hear others' comments on opinions expressed.

I think he was a decent President and an intelligent man, but he was also a very dishonest person with serious character flaws. The other thing about Clinton is that America was on easy mode when he was President: The Cold War was over and the economy was improving thanks to new technology (especially the internet) and relative global stability. He wasn't a great President, but certainly a reasonably good one.

President and Madam President Clinton know how to Govern in which they did have a Democratic Congress and Senate including forcing the right wing humans to do their job. Howard Dean should had never stolen the Democratic Nomination from Madam President Hillary Clinton in 2008.

He did everything he said that day after he became president. He made a difference in people's lives. I know people used to be afraid of going out after dark. Such were the days back then. This man changed it, gangs are no longer an issue for this country.

He signed the 94 crime bill. He’s the reason we have our current police state and mass incarceration. Sure he was a good president if you only care about the economy (the economy isn’t a measure of how average people are doing, a good economy is just a sign of investment bankers and ceos getting richer)

@@User_32 The current police state began way before that. But, since the late 1980s, cities were sampling with speeding cameras, which lead to traffic cameras, which led to full time street video surveillance cameras and culminated in 2003 with the Patriot Act created by Republicans and signed by G. W. Bush. And "mass incarceration" began a very, very long time ago, but went to a new high in the 1980s with "the war on drugs".

Man 1992, that was some of the best times I can remember - don't get me wrong I live for Today and love Today but it was a different vibe. That being said, let's not idealize Clinton and the 90s - the problem now is the same as the problem then = you don't have capitalism without Racism and Slavery. I live in LA and the 15$ / hour salary is nothing more than pocket money, and another form of slavery.

Personally, he's one of my very favorite presidents--certainly within my lifetime. Historically ranking anyone is very difficult of course but I believe he's consistently placed within the top fifteen greatest presidents by politically independent scholarly surveys. I was reading responses to a Quara question about what President Clinton was really like in person. Some of the people were individuals who'd met him briefly (e.g., for an autograph, a photo...etc.) but also included those who worked for him or with him in some capacity. Without exception they commented on how genuinely warm and gracious and intelligent this man is. I've heard so many people over the years accuse Clinton of putting on an "act" for his own purposes and that makes me a little angry for him since I'm convinced he's one of the few truly decent public leaders we've had in modern times.
