Bill & Becky Wilde Pickups Strat Microcoils in Series

Күн бұрынDemo of the Microcoils in series and in series/parallel. This is my Strat-O-Tele X wiring setup. I'm going to change it, dropping the series/parallel choices for half out-of-phase choices, so I decided to make a video first.
The video was made recording analog audio out of the Axe into a laptop, recording with Audacity. The amp model used is the 65 Bassman.

Note that this wiring requires a DUAL Megaswitch M, which I got by emailing Gunther.

great versatility! @phostenix can you please tell me whether the s1 vol pot is linear or logarithmic taper?

Are you using any hum cancellation coils? I returned my microcoil set because it had a 60Hz hum/buzz, especially when used with a compressor. But I did love their sound. Now I have a set of L-45's that are hum-cancelling. I also have series/parallel combinations. 15 in total (3-way toggle switch and a strat superswitch)

How are you doing all the series parrallel changes ? Fender S-1 switch ?
