Stopping only to count down each minute left like some kind of sadistic whipping. His way of saying “fuck you”. Absolute chad move. 👑

He just keeps going and going, to put this drunk crowd in their place. And he must have decided on that night and in that moment to drop his planned material to go with this. Forget about funny; this is simply as bad-ass as a person can be. That dude had NO fear and came out to back his buddies.

This was the most brilliant strategy I've ever seen in comedy history. Hecklers being absolutely owned for 15 minutes. This was the best improv I've ever seen. He could've been weak and walked off the stage but he stood there and kept swinging and ended up winning the fight. Who goes into a hostile environment and trashes the entire city and at the end has the crowd actually clapping and praising his performance. He became one of my favorite comedians after I first saw this about 7 years ago. And the time countdown was genius

I became a life-long Burr fan after hearing this!! I’ve NEVER heard anyone before or since give a performance like this!!

Burr was BIG mad! And he even counted it down!!

Ironically they missed about 4 minutes of it but this was the most epic verbal assualt of heckling i have ever heard. The booing hits until about a minute into his rant i belive he mentioned heart disease and said all of you are going to die from it and im going to laugh at all your funerals. The crowd immediately started x heering it was amazing.

Before Bill, they just got done booing veteran comic Dom Irrera off the stage, who is one of Bill's stand-up heroes. That pissed him off, but then they started booing Bill next, and he refused to leave like everybody else! And the rest is recorded here. Oh, you cut out the first 6 minutes of the rant!!

The level of multitasking is what makes this so genius. Somehow he was able to disrespect the entire crowd, while simultaneously disrespecting each person individually, while also disrespecting the city, all while counting down/keeping track of each minute. The crowd started out heckling, he started insulting them, they started booing, he continued insulting them, they started cheering, he continued insulting them, they started booing again, he CONTINUED insulting them, then they started cheering again. He ended the set with “you guys were here”, They gave him a standing ovation. He left.

Heard all of his stuff and only knew about this recently. I thought it was epic. The standing ovation at end was totally unpredictable

Burr said that it was one of those rare outdoor day/night shows that just went way wrong. The audience was drunk as hell and were heckling all the comedians like Tracy Morgan, Bob Saget, Dom Irrera, Patrice O'Neal. He said that some of the comics didn't even go out. He was pissed and the rest is history.
