As a life long fan of comedy, I have to say Bill saved me. I was going through a rough time and I turned to humor and the ability to see reality through a comedic view. Bill’s “Im sorry you feel that way” is in my opinion comedic perfection. the jokes are amazing and his ability to work the audience was great. Bill… i wanna say thank you for keeping my head in the best space it could be at the time, in the space of laughter, comedy, and happiness. Ive seen all your stuff, and will be a fan till my end. All the best Bill and thank you again. PS.. SNL was pure GOLD!!

Long live Billy Burr. I can paraphrase the line on O&A that made me fall in love. I'm not giving context. "Hey! Which one of those keys open up the door to your forgotten dreams." And then at some point, I flew in to Columbus and saw him live. It was years ago. So much material I hadn't heard, and haven't heard since. "If I just drive home... nothin... Bill’s analysis on award trophies is spot on. It’s the same as the older generation saying things like “oh the current generation doesn’t even know how to drive a stick shift!” Yeah, well, who’s job was it to teach them? That’s only a reflection on your own incompetence.
@ultrameticulous
@ultrameticulous 9 ай бұрын
Stick shift went away in the US because people want automatics. They don't care about real driving, just stare at their phones while speeding in a stupid, deadly 5000lb SUV they don't need. Europe has many manuals...and "hot hatches"...and station wagons...and BMWs with CLOTH seats and SMALL engines. It's laziness, entitlement, and excess. In 2018, 2% of cars sold were manual transmission.
@mrtofusbarrelass
@mrtofusbarrelass 9 ай бұрын

@ggstatertots

@kennethgross3 Also Europe tends to have more robust public transportation. Cars are much more of a necessity it the US so car culture is geared around convenience of getting point A to point B. It doesn't really make sense to choose a manual if you're not an enthusiast and are just trying to get to work and the grocery store.

I love that she is doing the podcast with her dad..I think it's sweet but she is definitely a child of fame due to her feeling like Bob Iger's statement wasn't real or taken out of context. The media exec. class absolutely wants the creative working class to suffer. Anyone else making any more money means that they get less and that the shareholders of their companies get less even though it's all an imagined idea (money) anyway. Iger meant that and the fact that she is called out as being jaded by Bill early on and that she thinks that nobody like Iger would say that shows a lot about her character.

Many years ago, I was invited to a celebrity benefit golf tourney at Pebble Beach. Howie was the standup entertainment after the golf and dinner portion in a small-ish venue. Our table was up front, I was sitting next to Marshall Faulk and my boss's back was to the stage. My boss was inebriated and wouldn't stop talking. Howie came over and ripped into him (twice!) It was one of the funniest, most cringe-worthy things I've ever witnessed (not so much for my ex-boss). The moral of the story: enjoy the show and keep your pie-hole shut! :)

Howie I miss your in-person meet and greets. And I especially loved mentally locking you up asking about what "product" you used to stay looking so young! Hope you've started to moisturize! 😊

I have to mention, without sounding disrespectful b/c I like Howie- but I feel that he was trying way too hard to draw a box around Billy Burr that did not fit. Bill did not become an accidental sensation. He slogged it out in from of who knows how many 100,000s of people and earned his place. Had the single event he kept referring to never happened, Bill would still be a superstar comic. He’s the man, and earned every single applause and fan he’s got. Also, Bill is doing a favor to anyones show or podcast that he agrees to do- just look at the number of views and you can see that. His interviewers should thank him for his time

I knew how the word infamous is supposed to be used because of the movieI watched when I was a kid called the Three Amigos. Ned: “Ah, Dusty! Infamous is when you're more than famous! This guy El Guapo is not just famous, he's IN-famous!”😂😂
