I know everywhere is different but for the freeways where I'm from you're a total jerk if you just signal and wait for someone to let you in. That's such a self important mentality. Here's the thing, where I live the signs always, always have 2.5 miles of warning before every exit. You can find your way through traffic wihtout slowing any other car down, as busy as it is, in 2.5 miles across 4 lanes of traffic. But the guy that wants to get over at the last second who didn't plan ahead and just signals. So a whole lane of traffic has to slow down to let you in because you didn't paln ahead. That's a self important problem. I'd be mad if I saw Bill signalling and just waiting for a whole lane of traffic to slow down to let him in because he didn't plan ahead and wanted to drive in faster left lane traffic until the last second. Outside of that, most of what he's mad about I agree with, It's being courteous. Favorite line, "I judge other people's parents by their driving."

I do that but I blame my girlfriend. She's anal retentive about the trash, especially about the recycled stuff. Everything has to be cut up and reduced to small pieces so that the maximum amount of plastic, paper, aluminum etc, will fit into the bag. So she'll buy items that come in large cardboard boxes and expect me to cut the boxes into little pieces. On trash day I need to move the bags to the curb and cutting the boxes would take too long, I'd be late for work. So I load them into the car and toss them on the way because she checks the cans to make sure I've cut the paper, plastic etc. If I were to have put the boxes in the bin or beside it in their original shape I'd hear about it when she got home. It's all her fault I swear.
