I’ve got them at a very close second to the original group of Brian Free, Ivan Parker, Mike LeFevre, Tim Riley, and Garry Jones. But this lineup was outstanding as well. Any time you have Mark Trammell holding down the baritone part, it’s going to be excellent.

I like this performance of In Time, On Time, Every Time by Gold City. This is from their performance at the Hawaiian Homecoming in June of 1998. I wrote In Time, On Time, Every Time on March 21, 1995. My husband Shawn Obrien checked into drug and alcohol treatment that night. Shawn had battled a genetic pre-disposition to alcohol in addition to being a heroine addict of five and a half years. Shawn stayed clean for the rest of his life. He passed away February 12, 2011.

I have to admit, I'm an atheist, have been for a very long time. But I listen to this because it's just an amazing group. Doesn't change a thing, but it's the closest I'll ever come to gospel music I actually like. Love gold city, they put heart and feeling to their music, and a man can't help but respect that.

I wrote In Time On Time Every Time in April of 1995. My husband Shawn Obrien had a six and a half year heroin addiction which had a major impact on our intimate life. Our tenth anniversary was at the height of his addiction. I determined to keep my marriage vows despite the problems. And just two weeks later Shawn entered drug treatment. Praise God! He never abandons us!

Jay Parrack is great. His father Johnny Parrack is fantastic. But the one who doesn't get the credit he deserves is Mark Trammell. He is probably one of the best Baritones ever in Gospel Music. The other being Doy Ott who sang with the Statesmen Quartet for years.

Everyone talks about this lineup (JJMT) and the BIMT lineup but the one guy who was strong in the transition between the groups was Steve Lacey.

I taught this one to my audition children's ensemble that sings 3 part harmony and they LOVE it!! Pretty impressive song to hear a children's group sing. Good one to teach the importance of diction technique. Also gets some great doctrine in their little hearts so that hopefully, they fall back on it and remember it in the times they need it most.

He sure is and he got that tenor voice directly from his daddy, Johnny Parrack, hereditary transfer of the gift! Search for Gold City video called "Fathers and Sons" were they appear singing together. Believe me, when you watch these Quartets singing together for a while, you start to really appreciate them and one day you find that you actually love their sound more that you ever thought you would. I guess it's an acquired taste!
