Bill Haney expressed regret at his previous statement that he was sending his son to "kill" Ryan Garcia. Bill explains that the comment was made during promotional activities for the fight, and in hindsight, he recognizes it as going over the edge. Concerning the fight, he criticized Garcia’s failure to make weight and the resulting penalty of $1.5 million but acknowledged their decision to proceed with the match despite this. Bill conceded that the fight did not go their way, but despite the loss, he affirmed that his son, Devin, remains the world champion at 140 pounds. He also suggested the possibility of a rematch with Garcia, stating that it would depend on mutual agreement.

Haney has been a weight bully his whole career and was fighting at a 165 lbs in a 140 weight class which is a huge cheat to me. It was time for Haney to get bullied back and humble him and his daddy. Also if Ryan would of lost to haney then they never would of never made up this steroid accusation at all. Funny how all the suddenly when they open up a full investigation with more detail now there seeing Ryan is starting to be clearly innocent more and more as time goes by. @@DaRealNaga When I was competing in Golden Gloves in Georgia back in 2008 the fight before mine featured a 172lb division (weight is a bit different in amateurs). A real muscular guy was able to squeeze down to that weight but collapsed during his fight. I called the next day to check on him and learned he passed away that night. Those few pounds do make a difference.

First of all, they both hydrated tremendously the night of the fight. So, neither fought at 140. Secondly, they agreed to the contract way before weight-in. Look at how hydrated Haney was the night he fought Loma. So now you got out smarted and want to call foul🤔. Also, Ryan tested positive for something before the fight, supposedly, but you still chose to fight. Man, cut it out. Mind you, they were getting tested damn near every week before the fight.
