And this is what we need. Not just the charisma of the preaching but the teaching. The teaching of the things of the kingdom that will revolutionize how we think and live - these are the things that will keep us.

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear(revere) my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings(kanaph - skirt, garment, edge, hem, corner, tassles, loose flowing end); and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. From about 45:00 into the video. Compare Matthew 9:20 and 14:36...

Our divine nature ???
@myleskittleson24215 жыл бұрын
The things that Jesus made available when He defeated the devil by being the ultimate sacrifice and laying his life down for us. Being beaten for our healing and than crucified on the cross and raised from the dead for our salvation. That is what I believe our divine nature is.

Jesus did not give up everything and then re-inherit it so that we may also inherit it. What Jesus gave up was the right to act as God, therefore He lay down His divine privileges and humbled Himself even to the point of becoming part of His own creation. Jesus on earth was 100% God and 100% man, yet He never acted as God because His divine mission was to be AS man in order to redeem mankind. If He would have acted as God even once, His mission would have failed completely. Jesus never ceased to be God, for God cannot cease to be Himself and then later recapture what He was. That is ridiculous. If Jesus ceased to be God even for a few years, God then ceased to be. NKJV Phil 2:6-8 "Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross." The Greek says in v:7, "... He emptied Himself of His privileges." Other translations say, "He emptied Himself", but nowhere do we find that He emptied Himself of being God. Nowhere. Actually, in John 8:58, Jesus declares Himself to be God, "Before Abraham was I AM." (NKJV, ESV, KJV, etc.) God is a unity of three persons that cannot be carved out for the sake of redemption. If that was true, it would reveal that God was not big enough to deal with the problem in order to solve His creation's dilemma. Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD (Lk 1:37). Nothing at all. Just because we cannot grasp something that is so big, it doesn't mean that the fault is on God. The scriptures cannot be broken, God is limitlessly perfect and cannot deny Himself. This is to say that God the Father cannot be God without God the Son or God the Holy Spirit. GOD IS ONE and forever will be manifested as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. As the same token, God the Son cannot be God without God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. The same principle applies to the Holy Spirit. GOD IS ONE and He cannot be carved out or divided. Jesus was also our COVENANT REPRESENTATIVE. What happened to Him happened to us. This is how we inherit all that Jesus accomplished for us and as us. The key is know that God is covenant and never acts outside of it. We live inside the everlasting covenant (no end to it and cannot be broken). See Heb 13:20 (NKJV) Praise His holy Name...

+Solitary Pawn I know where u are coming from but u dont understand the Incarnation - He is NOW the God-Man who inherits what had before when He was fully God.His nature is now deity AND humanity forever - thus the 1st born among many brethren! That is the mystery of Incarnation and the mystery of love!
