Never heard of Gabica, but he's got the best break I've ever seen.

What it truly shows is the unbelievable amount of talent that the Philippines has and has had..they have players that aren't big names that can standout against anyone.. this is why they've been the best players in the world for a long time

no doubt he can shoot , however games won in a row is different than a run out which is consecutive balls shot in a row. if your allowing another player to shoot its not a runout

Wow that shot by Gabica on 5ball at 32:34 minute mark is really one of the toughest shot in pool thatbi ever seen. When he put a bottom spin on the ball to avoid the scratch, the white ball was near the rail and it was actually even a longshot. You know it wasnt a lucky shot, he really did tried to pot it and he made it. And oMG that was really a tough one. You know it was a missable shot even with the pros, but brillant players makes brillant shots. Thats what makes them great.

That shot of Antonio Gabica on 5ball at 32:42 mark is one of my MOST FAVORITE SHOTS OF ALLTIME in pool. You know when a player is taking a hard shot and when they really are intending to pot it instead of making a backup plan of making insurance as should they miss, but on that shot, Gabica was really decided to really make it and he made it. And what made that shot so difficult was the fact that he had to put a bottom spin on the whiteball to avoid a scratch considering the whiteball was near the rail, and it was also a longshot. And the shot was loaded with speed to make the spin materialize to avoid the scratch. And as we know, whenever you take a longshot with much speed, the chances for it to miss becomes greater. But well, great player makes great shots.

No, noooo, he didn't avoid the scratch because of draw, I don't think the scratch was on in the first place. The cue ball bounced three times before contacting the five. The five hit the right side of the pocket which means an overcut. If the scratch was on, it would be more so from an overcut and still he misses the scratch by a half a diamond. You need to check your physics, even if there was a healthy amount of backspin, and there was not, the speed of the cue ball going forward after collision with the five would still not be enough to hook its path and avoid what you think is a supposed scratch. What he delivered here was a "thump stun" and May in fact have hit the contact point of the five with the last skipping bounce so in other words the cue ball after the third bounce may still have been airborne a little bit when contacting the five and that would alter the cue balls path tremendously because a potential scratch was certainly there, but with low left and penetration, you can align thicker to the shot and throw the five which will help deflect the cue ball and avoid the scratch and I know this is his channel or account I really wish he could reply back because I'm willing to bet the way the shot was delivered was not exactly what he intended and I think his intention was to penetrate more pure than that where perhaps for sure at least the cue ball doesn't bounce three or four times because there is no future in a bouncing cue ball it is in pro terms a Miss hit unless intentionally trying to bounce the cue ball for whatever reason and that shot is not it and if anything a bouncing cue ball especially if the bounce was ascending at the moment of collision with the five now we are talking about a high potential of scratching if you think it through in spherical terms because the contact points change and if the contact points change then so does the path of the cue ball. Pure speed alone I don't think gets it done here because it's a compounding problem if he keeps the cue ball let's say on the table and zaps the hell out of it with a rolling speed, the shot angle itself now cuts easier because of less friction at the contact point of collision because speed overrides the friction and because of elasticity he can aim a little bit thicker with the same kind of stroke and once again now we threaten a scratch big time because the cue ball will have something of a forward momentum curve to it rather than a top spin curve because once again velocity takes over. A penetrating low left will get it done here and I still say the way the cue ball reacted at launchpoint from his stick was not what he wanted ideally. A big time trick shot artist but the kind of trick shot artist who does a lot of masses not that phony crap where they set the balls up and then have some girl in the audience execute the shot I'm talking trick shot artist with a lot of skill. He told me put a dime in front of the cue ball right near the base of it and now what do you think will make the dime not move, if we hit above center or below center? He will be shocked how much the dime never moves especially when you hit below center more so than above center. To avoid that bounce from that angle of attack he was forced to use shooting off the rail is extremely difficult which means and I'm sure he knows this you would need to slow the stroke down but slowly accelerate more.. I really hope he replies to this comment because I know I might not be 100% right but I know I'm not 100% wrong. That was a very fortunate outcome but of course the better the skill the more lucky one appears to be but if he responds and says I'm 100% wrong and that's exactly the way he wanted to nail the shot I'll tell that guy bullshit to his face. I'm going to the Philippines in the end of February you can meet me at Star billiards over in Quezon City I tell you to your face you're full of shit. I also say it that way because I know I'm not wrong, and he is a professional and he will admit the reality whatever that is exactly but I'm not far off I know that much.

The shooting was very good but 11 racks is not a record. Johnny Archer ran 11 racks and out while his apponent needed 1, also I watched Luther lassiter run 13 racks for big money a long time ago in the 1960s. This is very nice shooting however. A lot of us players shoot all games not just nine ball and that is why some runs are less than expected, 11 is great though. Paramus Richie

It was 10 racks. His 6th point was a win, but not a run out. He ran out 7-16 in a row. That's 10. Two of those was a 9-ball on the break. He had 1 or 2 simple combos on the 9-ball after the break. He did 2 carom shots on the 9-ball after the break. In one of the games it was a simple shot after the break, then a easy combo to make the 9 ball. For his final break, he didn't make a ball.

Looks like an 8 foot table to me. And what an awful shot by Orcolo at 11:55. Jumps up, pulls his cue straight up. Good thing he changed his mechanics from this to one of the best in the game. And yeah, I agree with the rest. Can't exactly be described as the highest runout. There are other runs that equal this or more, and these aren't consecutive runouts either with safeties and the opponent getting to the table.
