0:23 was really good, really strong chest voice. a lot of this id consider more of a chest heavy mix, which you could argue is belting but a traditional belt is almost entirely chest voice if not all. still absolutely beautiful regardless.

@@obibrandon7534I know I’m late but that’s just not true, if you listen to the professional vocal coaches, like for example Tristian Paredes, you will se that that’s not true
@obibrandon75349 ай бұрын
@@alvis6801 it may be a bit confusing, but I would like to believe that if Tristan were specifically asked about vocal technique as it relates to clear sounds and breathy ones, that he would say that a connected sound is the goal. From a practical point of view, if you've had a voice teacher, you would know that any voice production during the training process is done while the folds are properly connected, this is the only way to achieve balance between the closure of the folds and flow of breath during phonation. Now, if you randomly started yelling at the top of your voice for a few minutes and try singing after, you'd notice that there will be more of air in your vocal production, reason is because the yelling have caused swelling and this swelling will come in between the proper connection of the folds thereby resulting in being breathy, but if your breathy singing is simply a stylistic choice, its best that you're also capable of creatjng a clean sound, as thats the only way to have real power in your voice, and also because a sound that isn't clear is by default incorrect vocal production, there's a reason why people who can't properly belt high notes have to rely on falsetto, they're simply unable to connect the folds at the top of their range.
