2020 and we're still here... So underrated...

To me, this song is about anxiety and feeling like you have to fit in and how exhausting and depressing it is.

This song still makes me cry, everyone is giving their own interpretation so I thought I'd chime in, I associate this with my eating disorder. I've had a binge eating disorder for years that's caused me to lose and gain weight drastically over the years and it's very heavy. Pair that with deep existential fears that never really go away leads me to connecting with this song very closely.

the reason I listen to this is to battle the person who hurt me. the man who manipulated me constantly and made me stay around and who would constantly force himself on me. I thank god I got myself out of there. I used to listen to this song almost every night and every time he hurt me. I used to feel sick to my stomach to the thought of hearing this again. I now use it to my advantage because I'm taking back the things that made me happy. the things that made me, me. I am not what happened to me. I am better than him and the things he did.

I found your song on that day and it reminded me of her, so eerily... We are both diagnosed with BPD. Your lyrics have described her state prior to her suicide attempt so cohesively.
