I'm really glad he ignored that advice because Bobby Goren is one of the best characters ever. It's his quirks that make him believable.

Soooooo talented! I love listening to his techniques because I could already picture him approaching it this way. This is why he's such a great actor. He makes it look so simple, but he's perfected his technique beyond what many actors would do. Thanks for posting!

Just came across this video. Absolutely loved his character. L&O Criminal Intent was the best of the franchise in my opinion and that was manly because of Goren & Emes. Also loved Vincent in Mystic Pizza, Adventures in Babysitting and The Break-up.

I wanted to be in Law and Order just either to be a victim, or one of those people that provides that missing piece that leads them to the suspect. But I would willingly have been the suspect just to be interrogated by Vincent's character. He's one of my top favorite Law and Order characters.

why so reticent to explain process. first overview, second fill in within context of story to advance plot. sounds simple and infinitely complicated. i wish my mind could function like that.
