Vincent is not only a great actor, who I'm a fan of, but he's using his fame for good, to help promote awareness. I have Aspergers myself, so hats off to him. Good man!

Thanks so much for sharing this. I think he is extraordinary. It's great to have this further evidence that dyslexia, aspergers and autism don't imply a lack of intelligence, compassion or emotional connectivity.

As one who has worked with numerous on the autism spectrum, I am not the least bit surprised to learn of D'Onofrio's learning differences. Just look at his various mannerisms on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent"! Great book on the topic of Asperger's: "Be Different" by John Elder Robinson.

I was finally diagnosed with Autism in Adulthood for years they the medical teams really found it hard to see the difference between Aspergers and Autism tey are so alike and even my friend son Ben they have found it difficult to make a Diagnosis it's difficult ... It's Angels like Vincent who along with his lovely wife can and have raised awareness .... Thank you Guys we Love you and Thank you for your Support your Amazing.

I have taken my granddaughter in and she has mental problems. They have said so many different mental problems and there answer is more meds. Then she ran away and someone from sheriff department that was working in our neighborhood. The sheriff to her 30 miles to a different county and city knowing she has mental problems. So she was under age and the sheriff took her to a motel and left her with a 21 year old guy. Know she pregnant and have no idea where she and she has no meds. Law enforcement need to learn about mental health care. She self harms she is a cutter and will hurt other people. It's hell living not knowing the unknown. Sorry got off track
