When I made my first appearance on Top of the Pops, the audience had been replaced for being too gloomy, so the people I played to were dancers.
Just before I performed, the Director told them to wave their hands in the air during the song, but after he left, I went to the edge of the stage and told them that I was playing this live, so please don’t do anything to distract me.
To their credit, they hardly moved.

A very young Billy! An anthem for all times. If I was going to have secular music at my funeral that would be resounding loudly in hope folk took it to their hearts. Not all boomers have given up the good fight!

Once you know the history from 2014 till today, you will know that the real victims are the ordinary people of Ukraine who have been sacrificed at the alter of US hegemony. The USA funded the coup, installed an unelected fascist government which then led to the Ukrainian army shelling the Donbas for 8 years killing 15,000 Ukrainian civilians. Ask yourself wether Putin was provoked or unprovoked. If his attack was unprovoked then the 15,000 dead civilians are just not relevant to the ongoing war. As things stand, the vast bulk of the Russian army sits in Russia awaiting the almost inevitable invasion of Ukraine by NATO forces, which, if Biden does decide to escalate the conflict, will mean the end for western civilization. Let's hope the USA back down, cos Russia is, and always will be an indestructible opponent in war....
