I sang this song for my 4th grade talent show and won first place. My name is also Billy, and this was an absolute perfect fitting song for my voice at that age. I now have a degree in music and am a music educator. This was the start of it all :)

I was only 16 years old when this song came out and I will be 42 years old next month. Billy Gilman has the most unique voice for a child and as an adult. With today's world the way it is, we need to hear this song more than ever, we need to get right with God before it's too late. There's too much violence and not enough love in this world. I can't get enough of this song. I think this is one of the best songs that Billy Gilman ever wrote!

Who knew Billy before the Voice? ME!!!!! I have all three of his albums and his Christmas album is still to this day one I play every year while we put up our Christmas tree!

I listened to this over and over as a child. Had a little crush on him. I remember sitting on the school bus playing this on my walkman...now he is on the voice and it fills my heart with joy. Billy was put on this planet to sing. He has a true gift. I really think he deserves to win.

As soon as he started singing on the voice, I was just walking into the room where the tv was on, and I hadn't even looked at it before I said "Is that Billy Gillman?" As soon as I looked, and saw him, I just kept repeating "omg. Its Billy Gillman...THAT Billy Gillman!" I didn't watch the voice before, and haven't since, but I didn't miss an episode that season! Love Billy, and have since I was a kid with a small crush on him....He had such an amazing voice! Still does, and now my Spotify playlist is FULL of Billy. So happy he gave music another shot after it turned its collective back on him. He is still as amazing as when he was young.

The world is seemingly going to crap and we just need that one thing that's going to turn shit around. I really hope Billy wins The Voice this season. This was posted on my birthday of 2009 I remember this day exactly. No food at home no gifts just parents who though I would not know my birthday because I turned five. Just yelling and arguing and my mentally I’ll mother having an episode. My aunt called and made a surprise birthday for me. My cousin and his friends came and just started bullying me at the party and calling me fat etc. I could never get a break. She always has helped me through everything I have been through even now. She is my angel. One voice was heard from her. I remember hearing this song in school has stuck to me for the longest time especially when I was in foster care and being abused. I hope no child ever has to relive what I did or any form of abuse and neglect

I grew up seeing this video. He has ALWAYS had a voice. Billy Gilman actually helped me follow some of my dreams including singing, I know what he had to go through to get his voice to where he most likely wanted to be. Then, not being into the voice as much as my parents I heard him once and followed as had when I was a kid. My dad was a HUGE country music fan, and we all knew who you were. Then to be listening to "The Voice" with my dad and me and him both knowing who you were even before Miley Cyrus (Which, no offence to her got as far as she did as fast as she did because her dads a legend, but your voice is...) Keep going Billy. You have some great messages and a great voice that I know you had to work hard to get back. But either way you look at it you have changed a lot of lives. Just think. Not many kids that age back then boys, or girls, made a name for themselves like you did. You will always have thousands of fans. So, lastly. Being 37 myself and growing up in a different time. Miley Cyrus might have a great voice but she was born into the music. She was known. You, Billy Gilman are kind of one of the main singing voices of my childhood. You are talented and always have been. And honestly as a singer with a dream of singing myself you are one of a very select few that helped me get to where I wanted to be in my singing as I grew up. And I didnt even watch "The Voice" Until I seen you on that episode. You didnt even have to sing for me to know who you were.
