From what I understand at the time, Billy Idol was in a motorcycle accident and could not do a live video so this was done instead. He also lost the part of the evil Terminator in T2: Judgment Day and it was given to Robert Patrick. You can see him act in the film The Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler and other fire hits: Eyes without a Face, Hot in the City, Mony,Mony, and White Wedding which started it all!

I've been a huge fan of Billy Idol since the first time I heard him back in the day. He's still amazing. Several years ago, one of my daughters was carrying on about some new band that was so incredible, her new "favorite band". When she paused to inhale, I asked if she could even list 10 songs from memory by her new band. She came up with 3. She knew I was a Billy Idol fan and asked me to name 10 Billy Idol songs. I listed 30 songs, then asked her if she'd like more. It's good to be the daddy. Thanks, Billy, and thanks to Andre and Dominica for making my day with a Billy Idol reaction. More please!

The reason this video was shot this way is because Billy was in a bad motorcycle accident before the video shoot. He had to use a cane to get around and shot the video on a stool. The girl in the video is supposed to be an underage girl which is why the man of the house was trying to stay away from her.
