I’m old enough to remember when this song was released. There were a lot of music critics, back when that was an actual job, whereas music critics now it’s just the general internet population, I digress... Yeah a lot of critics hated this song on the basis that he was sing rapping just random historical pop culture and the song had no impact. I always thought that was bullshit. There is lyrical progression in every verse if you know what each and every reference is to. Sadly if you’re younger than 35ish this would require a solid 3 months worth of historical research.

But you didn’t acknowledge the fact that the song is the history of his life. And didn’t understand that it’s important to KNOW history. So…glad you like the song but go deeper, bruh.

To be honest ... I don't like reaction videos where I have to see/hear the whole music-video (i already do know) and just have to wait for the reaction afterwards ... So actually I'm only listening to the intro and skip to the end! Everything else and inbetween is a waste of time for me!
