I’ve known him for almost 6 years now and he’s not changed much at all, he’s very humble and appreciative of the fame he’s gained. Going to see him on new year’s in Grand Rapids can’t wait to hang out with him!

But to me, there's no comparison to having a stage with Tony Rice, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas etc...I mean, those guys are icons. @@nuller9918 Absolutely. I definitely agree with you that they're about even. Billy along with Bryan Sutton was awesome. I just saw Tommy Emmanuel here in Dallas a month or so ago, and next on my list is Billy Strings. His shows look amazing. You are so right about how tight BS and his band are it's crazy. Every performance I've seen, whether they are playing inside, or in a studio, or outside at a festival somewhere, their sound is amazing.

Agreed. They definitely looked like they were just "phoning" it in on this performance. I've seen them play elsewhere, and the energy was definitely lacking...and not just energy, enjoyment as well.
