Pretty much everything after the friend came over was a little too much. Song is about a man destroying himself, yes, but he never actually reaches for violence, he just misses his girl and wonder why was she the one to die. It shows how for the world its just statistic, restaurants still work, telephone works, doctor just brought the news, and in the world nothing changed, but for the speaker everything may just stop as it lost any meaning. There is suggestion of resorting to isolation, clinging to the past, with other songs on the album maybe alcoholism and drug abuse, but never violence. Also, the acting wasn't really top notch, but whem it came to more action direction it really showed a lack in experience, which is fine, but just a thing to think about
