Love the reaction! Billy Woods needs more love in hip hop, I'd say arguably Brass is one of his best records with Moor Mother. Def the most experimental in some parts but has amazing highlights. Hiding places comes 2nd tied with History Will Absolve Me because like you said, there was so much emotion/vulnerability that really added to em. Hope you enjoy Hiding Places on more listens!

You should definitely listen to History Will Absolve Me by billy woods and Brass by Moor Mother and billy woods. Both are incredible albums
