Thank you for a great honest review, I discovered this album not long after my mother passed away in 2022.. the songs and Sufjan's delivery of the lyrics really resonated with me throughout the grief that I'm still feeling. My favourites are the only thing, death with dignity and also Eugene. Miss you mam.

8:54 ironically, this was the only song on the album that was not produced by Peggy Who produced this was a brazilian producer called Dj RaMeMes, this man's music goes crazy.
@feli627710 сағат бұрын
according to multiple sources, peggy also produced the track alongside dj ramemes
@KumoHsСағат бұрын
@@feli6277 in peggy's production, he only adds two layers with his rap and voice effect, the beat was 100% by ramemes you can notice that by listening to Upa Upa Pocotó X 170BPM

I think we can all agree that all the music we are getting these days are simply filler for the real art to be put out by Peggy. It’s kinda like I won’t get this from any other artist out right now who isn’t getting production from madlib or dilla

Peggy got like 500k extra monthly listeners from the singles and so far 200k since the album, which i think is pretty cool 👍

Blue Lines is a really significant album. It blew my mind when I heard it in the 90s. Spent many a stoned afternoon in my halls of residence in Liverpool in 1991 listening to this.

Mezzanine just blows this outta the water, its by far the best Massive Attack album overall. One of the most perfect albums ever created, its a luscious labrynthian soundscape that extends infinitely outward into the emptiest reaches of black space

His best work yet, which is saying something because his other albums are all top tier. I can’t imagine how hard this would go live.

It can't compete with Cornballs, DEFINITELY not LP, but absolutely another top tier album
@veniceismine1Күн бұрын
@@sleep6837 don’t get me wrong, I love both of those albums but I still think this album makes better everything that was good about both of those albums, as well as STH, and puts it all together. Plus it feels more polished and finished, with a more linear narrative than both of those albums. But I respect your taste. Either way it’s another banger album.

Their comeback album after a long layoff, "With Teeth" is also worth checking out,. I am biased though NIN are one of my all time fave bands. Also for industrial on the more metal end of the spectrum check out Fear Factory "Demanufacture"

I think u did not take the best song to hear the new version of tate mcrae, maybe try Run for the hills, she is a great artist finally getting the recognition she deserves and even tho i respect ur opinion you should get a bit of informations on the artist and saying if she is overated or underated is not really a role someone can take, I hope u hear a lot more from her album THINK LATER, so u can see why we all love her and we are all fans

David Bowie was not gay. For part of his life, he identified publicly is bisexual, and certainly played up those elements in his act, pretty good during the glam rock. Period however, from whetstones on, he tried to play it off, as having just been in affectation, and shortly there after he was married to Iman, one of the most beautiful woman in the world.
