@@alro11Awesome!! I finally saw Billy live in Michigan for the first time this year. I subscribed to Nugs so I watch his streams. But there was nothing like his live show! The atmosphere was fantastic; Billy and the band were phenomenal (as expected) and the other fans were so friendly! I met some great friends, traded Billy stickers with some fans, was able to listen to my fave Away From The Mire at the rail and got some great merch. Can't wait til my next show!!

I was there that night and let me be the first to say that he wasn't the only one saying "wtf" myself included. I still say that when I look back at that night. I hadn't ever experienced anything like it as far as music goes and I've seen them all(I'm an old head) these guys are legitimately the tightest band I've ever seen and they continuously out do themselves each time they play. The best BMFS show is the NEXT BMFS show. And he's doing it, selling out well in advance every venue and arena they perform in and with traditional stringed instruments. You could get all the great bluegrass pioneers and contemporary greats still alive all together on one bill under one roof and they still wouldn't be able to sell out one single night in some of the places Billy plays. I know now what the term "melting your face off" means...

@@spongeorpete7289 any jam band live is better than any studio recording possible, a big part of this type of jam rock is the soundscape and journey you experience in real life through the light show and sound mixing. I'd actually argue most shows, regardless of genre, are better live, except for rap music. I've seen plenty of rappers live and have been greatly underwhelmed every single time, those are all just them playing the beat and only rapping half the words

I miss chorin’ with my gramps on the weekends. We’d feed the horses and shovel out the turds. But he always took me to a little diner in my hometown where him and half a dozen old timers would sit and solve the world’s problems. Or he’d harness a couple ponies and take a drive and we’d both be singing “oh my darlin clementine” at the top of our lungs. He had me fooled that the louder I’d sing, the faster the ponies would trot. Of course he was just tapping the reigns below my eyes. That farm and his way of life are all but gone now. My kids are growing up in the suburbs. Kinda pity them in a way.

@@stevenpetrochko8225 I hear you, I think it's a reference to the Higher self and the promise lands through the Manifestation of our own reality. And the willingness to leave what no longer serves us behind. It's like an ode to "I am, That I am." But Billy's referring to Billy and his path to his higher self. That's atleast how I have internalized it. Great tune, phenomenal actually.

I am a fellow musician. I play 7 instruments, none of them professionally, just to compose... At the suggestion of a close friend, I wached and listened to about half of this video while I was on break at work. THERE IS NO WORD OR DESCRIPTION FOR WHAT IAM EXPERIENCING! MAYBE... KABOOOOMMMMM!!! This is the first time I've ever heard such rhythm and tempo in this style. I'm an old rocker, but your music is downright badass!!! Nicely done young man!!! Nicely done!

In 100 years I hope this man is held in the same regard as Bethoven or Bach. What he is able to do with any musical instrument of choice is mind boggling. I've listened to this set dozens of times and every time it moves me. Everyone on stage is beyond talented. NEVER LOOSE THIS PASSION.
