I'm hoping someone in this community maybe has also experienced this or can relate but I think I have slight body dysmorphia but in the opposite direction, if this makes sense..? Basically I think I look ok when I see myself in the mirror but in pictures I'm realizing that I'm way bigger. I don't know if it's really body dysmorphia or if my mirror image is THAT different but I'm really struggling with this😔

MemberOFscalkof this is literally my life, its like in the mirror i can convince myself i look okay but then I see a photo and its such a horrifying contrast i feel like i cant breathe the anxiety is so intense. I don't know what to do about it but hey you're not alone.

Justin, our director of photography can explain this better, but when you take a photo you’re putting a 3D image in a 2D space, meaning it makes us and our bodies look different. Lighting can COMPLETELY change our look too, so can angles, etc. So, forget the pictures, trust yourself!
