An interesting storyline could be drawn from this dialogue. Optimus was integrated with Jetfire at that moment, a decepticon. What if, merging with Jetfire in that way started affecting Optimus' personality. He still had his resolve of protecting Earth, but for achieving that, he started to think more like a Decepticon

Not to mention a transformers "spark" acts as a heart and soul simultaneously, the fallen got his heart ripped out and crushed, not to mention when Optimus rips megatron's head off with the axe, you can see what would be his spinal cord with it, so his spine gets ripped out and his body just falls apart after.

He actually acts like Megatron too, he runs in and blasts him in the back without any honor, then just slams him into the bridge and bashes his head in. He even just rips any and all bits of him off that he can reach, it’s a lot less elegant and more brutal than Optimus.

Yeah, but it was rushed and the Fallen went down way to easily, it's rather a disappointing fight. Bay has said that he wanted to do a big fight between them but the budget ran out or something. The Last Knight had a better final battle, though it's still pretty bad.

@@badvibesforever5577 unfortunately ,you don't, the bayverse movies are great in their action scenes but their plot is minimal and the movies are terrible. The day is saved not by the transformers but by the humans, it seems in a movie about robots they want the humans to have a major role, even in the recent bumblebee film they still had the human save the day like- dude. I think it is a fundamental problem with the transformers system itself, everytime the human who has a destiny or something will save the day

Can I just say the CGI teams for these movies were insane good. Loved seeing all the mechanical detail, the moving parts and the scale of the transformers were all perfect. If only Bays direction and writing teams were better. 1, DOTM & bumblebee were the best of the series.

Honestly, the first movie did it better. None of this Last Action Hero bullshit, with one half trained dude tossing hands with a three story space robot. No, just a bunch of soldiers throwing down with some superior artillery. Best part was that Skorponok fight. Sheer perfection.

Optimus Prime's final battles are pure examples of how a superhero can be ruthless, show no mercy, take life and yet still be heroic; his brutal methods in taking down Megatron, Sentinel Prime, The Fallen and lockdown should be the golden standard that all superhero characters follow, if Batman, Superman, Spider-Man and others like them just put down their threats the way Optimus Prime has they wouldn't be dealing with that much severe consequences from the devastating aftermath of their villains!

Biggest folly and mistake optimus prime's enemies make is, they try to convince him and their final blow is not normally brutal. They underestimate his resolve. Optimus is single minded and resolved so his final blow is always decisive.

Optimus with one arm ripping megatrons head off is the best. I loved this scene in general cuz him and sentinel were having a bad ass fight but then megatron interrupts and it made sense. Plus he’s like we need a truce where I’m in charge and it totally just felt like something you would see in the cartoon with megatron trying to weasel out a deal.

Well earlier in the movie Optimus easily took down their leader, and lockdown probably hunted them all down one by one, and in the next movie he did go toe to toe with optimus

I love all the movies regardless of what people think. We get new transformers every movie and they're always impressive and entertaining. I don't care what anyone says, micheal bay did a good job with these movies

I personally love them not because of story elements but it’s just big robots punching the shit out of each other, with an added bonus that they can turn into cool cars and planes. people like to complain about how well they’re written but it’s not supposed to be that deep

It’s very easy to say the bayverse where good when y’all’s are totally just seeing the fight scenes in a vacuum. I’ll rather have more substance and meat in my plate, but, y’all’s are free to like whatever you want, just throwing out my own three cents

The forest battle stands above all of these because it had great choreography, it was brutal and Optimus destroying Megatron, his right hand man (Starscream) and the biggest deception (Grindor) was just way too epic.

It may be your favorite, but certainly not the best. ROTF is one of the worst movies ever made and possibly the worst Transformers movie ever. No script, 12 year old humor, racism, sexism, a “plot” that makes no sense. Very disappointing sequel.

Anyway, Revenge of the Fallen was peak action for the franchise, but everything inbetween that basically involved human characters & the two skidmark Autobot twins, dragged the movie down & made it boring. I only loved the fight scenes, and the scenes that had the main Autobot & Decepticons in them.

Megatron is the most badass character there is. The only one who can actually defeat prime, but instead talks to him after a submission rather then strait trying to ghost prime. Whoever prime struggles with, Meg just takes them for a walk through the park, like only I can mess with my brother

@@bluestrickytyes4084 although he wasn’t like the G1 prime, his brutality is what makes him so cool to see in action. Besides, he has a soft spot for protecting others. Take away that weakness and he truly becomes brutal (nemesis prime). Also, I always look into intentions before actions that are committed in a movie. Stuff that is better seen than explained…

The scene with Cade Yeager taking on Lockdown is really something. Cade managed to near-miss 7 of Lockdown's sword swings and stabs barely before Lockdown got killed by Optimus.
