@@aaronrobbins6451 thats facts. also, if optimus was going all out from the very start. its likely megatron would have been dead. and then he wouldve cleaned up starscream and black out real fast, basically only plot armor on megatrons side, and the fact optimus is supposed to be the hero who typically doesnt mercilessly kill. at least not up until his later movies.

It's been 16 years since the first one and the CGI still looks as realistic as it did then. Say what you want about Michael Bay and the stories of these movies, but you can't fault the CGI or the sound design

Love or hate the Michele Bay movies, you got to admit their impact, basically reviving the Transformers series after the Unicron trilogy, gave us fantastic fight scenes, and CGI (most of them being almost a decade old btw ) that looks better than anything and mainstream entertainment has given us Edit: I freaking fix it… god I hate autocorrect

I think Hound is highly underrated. During extinction, he was fighting with every single weapon he had, starting big, slowly working his way on down to where he was actually used the bullet he held in his mouth. I wouldn't mind seeing a fight like that in any franchise that has a good story in it.

I remember being so pissed at the autobots for not getting to Optimus in time, but then he went full badass and knocked literally 70% of the enemies himself. Megatron would have definitely died if his team wasn’t there in that scene. Optimus is brutal and we love him for that.

Its the first time we saw that the Primes had the name "prime" for a reason. Optimus is seens as the apex taking on an entire group of decepticons. That fight was also the start of a still going debate I have with some friends: We knew Optimus was a great leader We saw Optimus was the top of the 'foodchain' The question is: has his postition as leader of the autobots been a huge factor on his combat skills or is he being held back by responsibties etc. In other words is that fight just a glance of an unbeatable prime he could never become

Megatron was as at his strongest in Transformers 1, seen when he literally ragdolled Optimus in the final battle, and he was basically fighting the entire Autobots, US Jet(air support) and the soldiers all by himself, but after his death and resserection he fell from power since in ROTF he got weaker due to the new bodyparts doesn't matched with him and hinders him in battle, and he is at his weakest in DOTM since he still did not recover from the battle of Egypt in ROFT.

And in the first movie, Optimus never used his energon swords or his blaster (which he used for 1 shot), because he valued the humans in the middle of the battleground, and tried his best not to use weapons that would cause catastrophic destruction. I agree, Megatron was at his best in both TF1 and TF5, but ROTF, Jetfire-enhanced, DOTM, and maybe even TLK Prime would beat any of the 2 1v1 When he starts playing by the Decepticons rules, he can kill literally anyone

I thoroughly enjoy the Bayformers. First 3 mainly. The newer ones, while being better written, they don't have the weight and intensity as Bay's. His transformers really feel and look like giant robots killing each other. Like real physical objects. The latest one they move like the weight of a feather.

To me, that scene where he says “I’ll Take you ALL ON!” Hit me the hardest when seeing it full screen. I tried not moving in my seat to fight like him, feel his strength and courage to just never give up. No matter the odds. Could be the Spartan in me. (Halo)
