Cita Capuyon's styling here was was much simpler yet more glamorous compared to the her stylist did her makeup and hair at Miss Universe which made her look more matured.

I remember No. 39 the 2nd runner-up being scolded by a terror professor at MCU Mayhaligue the day after the contest. The prof told her in their chemistry subject that she should still study her lessons kahit pa umaga nang natapos ang Binibining Pilipinas. The prof instructed her to stand up for not being able to answer the prof's question during recitation. Some freshmen including myself witnessed her humiliation. As the classroom door was wide open then (dalawa pa man ang door ng room). She's just quiet we call her ate Raquel and she's very nice and sweet. Batchmate sya ng ate ko sa high school. We also were subjected to same humiliation pag di us nakakasagot sa terror na maestra.

@@rexmaricabagnot4135 True. Eden Pastrana does not have that "CONVENTIONAL standard of beauty." Had she joined this era, she would not make it even as a semifinalist. She's good as a ramp model but not a beauty queen per se. Her remark during the Q&A was subpar. Those I considered beautiful in this batch are Rosita Capuyon, Shalymar Alcantara, & Matea Tagle. The rest of the winners are typical beauties. Fun Facts. Rosita's last name is actually NAKAMURA.
