BIO BROTHERS REUNITED AFTER 14 YEARS! | FOSTER CARE STORY | VERY EMOTIONAL!!!
Alex is reunited with his biological brother after 14 years apart and it is very emotional! Their foster care story is like so many others - they were split up in the foster care system and adopted out separately. This is an emotional reunion, but I am so happy these bio brothers reunited!

In some cases there are too many kids in a sibling set so it can be impossible to find them all one place. But in cases like this where there are only 3 siblings I cannot even fathom being okay with a decision like that

I adopted my son when he was 13 and he hadn't seen his parents because they were drug addicts since he was 4 so he asked me when he was 18 if I could help him find his parent and I said of course but unfortunately I found out they both died from overdoses. I was devastated and it was so hard to tell him the news but the 1 good thing was we found his sister who he hadn't seen since he was 4 and she was 2. So I bought tickets after talking to his sister and we flew to Texas from Philly and I didn't tell him until we got to the hotel room why we were there and he lost it and just broke into tears. Now she has moved up here and we all celebrate every holiday together with my sons kids and his sisters kids. So glad I was able to help him find her.

Max Merki - Agreed!! If the parents aren’t given the knowledge of other existing siblings, I can forgive them. Screw them! really wonder how they sleep at night.

I was separated from my older brother and sister when we were put in orphanages in Russia. I was 8 months old and I got adopted at the age of 2 where I was brought to America. My brother and sister never got adopted. My sister was looking for me ever since I was adopted. She couldn’t find me because my adoptive parents changed my name. I only found out about my brother and sister 3 years ago. A few months ago someone helped me find them online. We have been talking non stop online using a translator. I am hoping to make a trip by next year to Russia to meet them.

Alex saying "I love you too Mama" radiates how much he loves and trusts her ❤ And I'm sobbing at Josh's initial reaction to Alex. Alex is happy to actually meet a blood relative again; and it's extra special that it's his older brother. On the other hand, it felt like Josh is like "I finally found him". That older sibling mentality of needing to be protective of the younger ones. My heart is so happy they found each other again ❤❤

As an adopted child I know there are many things that have to line up in order to be able to adopt multiple siblings. There needs to be enough space at the home of the adopted parents, they need to meet the rules of the adopted country with federal and state regulations, and they need to meet certain requirements as a couple (some agencies require they need to be married, plan on having a certain number of children, must be Catholic, etc) so there ya go!

Alex is the greatest kid. It must have been devastating for him to be rejected and separated from his siblings. The family that took him in later was very abusive. Thank God that CPS extracted Alex, Hannah and Hannah’s bio sister and gave them to Aaron and Crystal. Those two people are the parents every child deserves. They made sure Alex got the counseling he needed and rebuilt him from the ground up. Sometimes things do work out for the best.

kibummiex hansol X baekhyun incorrect. I’ve been a DCF case manager for a long time. It’s not the adoptive parents fault. It’s the broken foster care system. There’s limitations and wrongful placements that often split of siblings throughout the duration of being in care.

Speaking as a former foster child this makes me happy to see the two brothers re-united. It is unfortunate that they were separated at such young ages. Hopefully they can build a relationship and a bond starting now. I’ve experienced a situations where a family did not want all the children however, the foster parents also did not want to split the siblings up, so two sisters were foster parents and they both took a set of the siblings to keep them together somewhat. It may not be ideal but at least theses siblings could see one another regularly as opposed to being completely separated.
@BMarie774

MLO I understand in some extreme cases how it's necessary. That being said, if children have to be split up the state should absolutely make sure they have an active relationship. That means visitation. And visitation that exceeds spending an hour or so in a room every once in a while. They should make use that sibling bond is maintained. It,in my opinion, is there responsibility, if children have to be split up.
@BMarie774

When I first saw this video about a year in a half ago, I cried like never before. Deep inside of me I somehow felt that lost connection, like something also has been missing in my life. Only to find out precisely at my age of 50 and just last year, I found out I was Illegally "adopted" or should I say, "given away". Back then my adoptive mother registered me as her natural child. I would've never known the truth, since she' was never going to tell me. It's accidentally that it slipped out of her that she finally came clean. She doesn't know any information of my biological parents, except that aparently my biological mother died when she gave birth to me. I was a premature baby. I have done the DNA tests, nothing. So, I guess I'll never know. I love this video and love how the adoptive mom helps those kids find their true origins. That is what I call TRUE LOVE. Thank you for doing this for him and for sharing this beautiful story that no matter how many times I watch, it brings tears of joy. Much love. From Canada.

The adoptive parents of the other siblings treated those children like a litter of puppies they could pick and choose from. How incredibly heartless and selfish to rob these children of each other, especially knowing they were discarded by their birth parents. I dont know how he will be able to meet them and not feel some resentment. God bless his mother for loving him so much and trying to join the family back together.

I think this is one of the best, happiest videos on reuniting family members over several decades I have ever seen. I TRULY enjoy and am warmed by that non stop smile of younger brother here from the moment he sees his brother outside the restaurant until they get back in the van heading home. What an AMAZING class act that older brother is; that type of thoughtfulness he had by gifting him that photo at the end after dinner. These accents and just genuinely nice, decent, good hearted nature and disposition in several people is eerily reminiscent of that which I know and am used to with my Canadian cousins!

The CPS, Foster Care system is cruel altogether. There are so many good people but at the same time bad people that don't try to see past issues that could be dealt with before choosing to move a child or two. The system tends to make decisions that aren't ultimately needed, AND I can say first hand is I've been in the Foster system and so many times they try to adopt me and I was aging out and try to move me from placements that I had already adjusted to. Foster care makes kids long for relationships that they probably won't be able to keep as kids who grow super close to each other end up separated. But at the end of the day, I'm thankful that I know a God who was willing to help me through my problems, who filled me with his spirit (the holy ghost through the evidence of speaking in other tongues; Acts 2:38), and who has made a way when I thought there was no way.

I love what you crazy pieces do for kids in foster and also for siblings. keep up what you guys believe in most and that's to keep siblings together and to adopt kids that don't have a loving family. you and the crazy middles are the best human beings that deserve to be known for what you do. love and respect.

I can’t imagine what these kids have been through. The guilt the older brother must have carried because he was chosen and the younger brother was not. Happy they found each other again

There is so much an older sibling could feel guilty about. Especially with a separation. I know personally for a while i blamed my older brother for not trying harder to keep us together.

@@marycosacchi7046 sweetheart I'm sure your brother did everything you could to try to keep you guys together and I hope that you found them and you have a good relationship with him. I know that on a personal note when I was 4 months old my oldest brother of 19 about to get custody of me because my parents were involved in a car accident which killed them and at the time he did not want me to go with my aunt and uncle because they were alcoholics my brother fought so hard to get custody of me and he had a stable home a job plus the inheritance of my parents left but the system just seemed like it was in my best interest for me to stay with an alcoholic aunt and uncle rather than a loving brother. However now that I look back on. I know that it was not my brother's fault that he almost lost custody of me but the system is corrupt but thankfully my brother won custody of me and he raised me and I love him dearly. He's like my father older brother all in one package.
