Biodiversity - St Helena Cloud Forest Project 2022

2 жыл бұрынThe green, mountainous slopes of St Helena’s Peaks National Park are a biodiversity haven for 250 unique species of plants and invertebrates.
A major part of the Cloud Forest Project is identifying, understanding and protecting these species.
This film is a short overview of the work being done towards safeguarding biodiversity on the peaks.

I applaud all three of these videos, and what you are doing for sustainability and biodiversity. great work, one day I hope to visit.

Thanks William (you got in there early as they were uploading, there are 6 short films now 😃) It's quite remarkable to witness the work going on up there, we feel so lucky to have been able to document some of it 👍😊

Boring. I visited St. Helena after the new airport was built and there wasn't anything to do except look at ferns. Literally the most pointless place I've ever been to. The supposed "cloud forest" is actually just a bunch of shrubs. They should bulldoze that place and build a proper club, the nightlife on St. Helena is terrible.
