I miss mask molds LEGO would make for Bionicle and Hero factory. Now we simply get printed pieces or funky looking head pieces for buildable constraction figurines.

Honestly, I think that Helryx MOC's mask design is actually a better look for a mask of psychometry than the official one.

BrickLink says that there are 44 pieces (it's actually 43) across 23 sets (although 6 of those are variants on the vanilla version of a set with added CD Roms or Cards) for Pearl Sand Blue. The bulk of your parts come from the Technic Super Battle Droid, with the second most parts coming from Sir Santis. For added accents, the minifig sword that Santis carries in the Knights Kindom Playsets could be used, but you have to clip onto the hilt, you can't just slot it into an axle hole. And then believe it or not, there's 2 Duplo Pieces that use the color, but only one could conceivably be used on a Constraction figure as armor, and you still have to figure out how to attach Duplo to your figure. The more common pieces for Bionicle fans to have come across in Sand Blue are Kraata, which are mixed with medium blue, and then Krana-Kal, which will just put a bunch of faces all over your MOC if you got enough of them. Finally, there are the minifig Super Battle Droid pieces but you'd have a hard time using them without the parts just breaking on you, they were barely designed to do their main function. Once a Super Battle Droid has been assembled, it cannot be disassembled, and it has to be stored in a box and no longer handled, and that's still risking the clips breaking. Don't use them. Had LEGO kept the color around for the subsequent Super Battle Droids in sets, perhaps things would have been fixed or at least not become so expensive. Bottom line is, if you're a Bionicle fan and have these parts, they'll be difficult to incorporate, and you shouldn't even so much as look at them for fear of making the clips break.

Having these custom masks really works for MOCs since even if new masks were still being produced, the custom masks make the MOCs not look like any of the existing characters.
