NOTE: THERE IS SOME STUTTERING IN THE FIRST PART OF THIS VIDEO. NO IDEA WHY. APOLOGIES.
A showcase/walkthrough of Gali's level in the 1.0.1 version of BIONICLE: The Legend of Mata Nui REBUILT. Partially as a showcase for those interested in trying it out, but also as a walkthrough for those who find themselves stuck at one point or another.
This video showcases version 1.0.1 of Rebuilt, meaning that Gali's level only has minor touch ups as a whole from 1.0. This level will, in all likelihood, progress very differently in future versions, so expect another video of this level once that has occurred.
I do go out of my way to showcase all the dialogue, which contributes to the video's length. Considering I wrote a good 90% of it for this level, I feel like showing it off. ;)
ADDENDUM: Since the recording of this video, the issue with the grappling hook not disabling properly while playing the horns has been fixed, and said fix will be present in 1.0.1 on release.

@@michaelflores9220 He probably swam so fast that you could hardly see it. Check the part where Gali swims in the darkness and pay attention around her.

Nope, thanks, I absolutely hate it. It creates an unnecessary hassle "Ruru on, Ruru off and Kaukau on", also makes it even harder to find that rocky entrance at the beginning with the very first button you have to press. And just for the occasional jump scare of that big shark (he even sometimes dips through the wall of that one rectangular tunnel). For what purpose? This was supposed to be a kid's game, ffs. The beta version of that level was perfectly fine!

There’s two crab nests that you have to destroy, along with the crabs. Then you have to go out into the water and do the same for two sharks and their nests. They look like these blue corals

Hey I figured it out! Shoot the Sharks in the water and their small purple nests as well as the crabs and their nests! Then her door will open!

I can concur. I don’t know why this video doesn’t show it, but there’s two fish underwater that you have to kill, then there’s like these purple coral nests that are destructible. I was so happy when I figured this out

@@ralphytube9986 pretty sure this is an earlier build. because of that none of the enemies were required to open nokama's door as seen at 1:42 (they had only broken 1 rahi nest)

@@bionic-tale4313 Multiple words in Bionicle are from it, Tohunga means priest and they had to change it to Matoran because of a huge lawsuit. That's also why Jala's name etc. ere changed.

At 17:56, HOW do you get that bottom platform to appear? I’ve killed the enemies, destroyed their nests, and still NOTHING. How do I get up there!?!?

That platform is meant to appear when the hives an enemies are destroyed, which was broken in the newest patch thanks to enemy pacification being re-added. It will be fixed in the next released version.

i managed to do it with a litle trick shot , i used the grappling hook without the platform and used the grap hook once again on the other platform mid air

@@Azerwite do you mean grappling the platform itself, or just the 2nd grapple target? My bad if that seems like a dumb question lol. But I did try hitting the 2nd target after latching onto the 1st and i gave up after a few minutes of trying. It definitely looked possible, but after playing the rest through the debug mode, there were more crashes and issues along the way. So unfortunately for now, it does seem like debug mode is the way to go

Can you switch to the Kanohi Ruru underwater to see better in the dark parts, and then switch back to Kaukau when your air is about to run out? 😉

How do you do those three jumps at the end of the water slide? You don't use the jump button, I see - because if you do, you bump your head and fall down. But how do you gain sufficient speed? When I don't jump there, even when I press forward, I still drop down the shaft.

How do you dive? I've pressed every key on my keyboard and couldn't get it to work. That and pressing space crashes my game.

Diving is done by double tapping W while on the water's surface. Sorry for the late reply. :)

The game is saved automatically when you enter an area. You can attack with the numpad controls, but I do not recall how at the minute

What's dumb to me is that this game was cancelled because it was too violent and then in 2003 they realased the game that was more violent than this.

Those are from the vanilla game, so we don't know where they came from.

How do you swim so fast, on my computer it just doesn't go that fast

Swimming speed is tied to framerate. The game currently runs best at 30fps, though we're still trying to make fixes so the game can run well no matter the framerate.

@@robot54312 I think a frame rate fix might help with a lot of the issues I've by having, on all the slide sections when I move my mouse in the slightest it send me crashing into a wall or off the course. Was thinking about submitting a bug in the GitHub about it

@@robot54312 is it possible to limit the framerate to 30? Mine is at 60 and the Gali level is borderline unplayable with how slow swimming is compared to your video
