Growing up on the Central Coast of NSW, Karise began singing blues and rock from an early age. She started playing the guitar at thirteen and also picked up the double bass.

I’m totally glad yr doing what yiu want not being pushed like the music industry does and we are all better with yr music yr amazing yr a special singer yiu do deserve a Grammy or more but it’s great yr here hope yr doing good

Just watched her incredible audition on the Voice from 2012 (for the umpteenth time!) and then came looking for a recent video- he voice is just so unique and stunning!! And 10 years on her confidence really shines through- she's better than ever!

Unglaublich und nicht zu fassen, dass ich Karise nur durch Zufall beim Stöbern auf KZfaq entdeckt habe. Vulkan mit zerbrechlicher Seele, Lava in jeder Vene, wenn ich sie höre. Black Crow, ein Hammer von einem Song. Wird wohl Karise sein, die irgendwann mal für mich spielt, wenn ich mich verabschiede (hopefully 🤘🏼).

Love the accoustic version but it doesn't strike as hard as the orginal version. Though I still love her songs and this one is pure joy to listen to
