Better wording is “I gave it to everybody on Christmas”. The use of “away” implies you didn’t want it and give yours to someone else.

She is good here but very young . Her new material (2021) sounds more mature and rounded to my ears . The forthcoming album in my opinion represents a step up eg "loneliness" in my opinion the best thing she has ever released. I prefer the live performance of that wonderful track . The one with Birdy singing at the piano rather than the official video. Expect the new album (2021) to be her best yet judging by the various new tracks I have heard so far.
