I was in gt Yarmouth in the autumn Mike,. the station is in a different place to where it was last time I was there in the 70s take care.

Can't recall the last time I saw a 31, and the rows of old sleeper coaches is quite sad. I much preferred those to the new ones.

Well you should know about the sleepers as you have travelled on the MK 5, which I might do in 2022. Last time I saw a 31 moving was on the SVR this year, good to see you making a comment again Julian.

Great shots Mike. Love the 31 and shunter in Great Yarmouth. Good to see an 08 in Ipswich Yard as well. Pleased you got the 0O01 move of mine as well :)

Thank you, lol. There used to be a platform 4 alongside the liner. Where the remains of the wood fence is,there used to be a public entrance via a stairway against the retaining wall. At the end of the platform there was a water crane and a starting signal. The current footbridge also led to it until truncated when the platform closed in 1969.

Thank you Robert for your knowledge on Dorridge station which I didn't know about as I didn't get into this hobby tell 1974, but I do remember the sidings there. Cheers Mike.

@@antman09ful1 Lots more to tell. Two yards, and carriage sidings, over the years. Bridges come and gone, etc.

David that stock was part of the night sleeper to Europe which was going to go through the Channel Tunnel. All the stock was built but it never happened, a terrible was of money. Thanks for your comment.

That one train seem to go through a red light - perhaps it was the angle of the camera that distorted the perspective.
