she has the right to brag because she won! She had to borrow someone else shoes because the one pair she had was torn. All the odds were stacked against her but she kept running anyway and won hence her right to brag! If Lolo won she would have that same right!

He's right about that, she always has a fantastic, positive attitude even in the down times (and even when life just keeps bringing them year after year). Athletes are known for such positive thinking and attitude in such a competitive world where you train for years and then on one day you have seconds to be perfect (among all the others trying for the same thing).

Don't be fooled by how Dawn and Kellie acted after their London medals. The exhuberance and cheesy grins and carry on was only motivated by one thing. Beating that Jones girl.

combivan they are recognized as true athletes, they worked so hard to get to the Olympics and the media hype lolo so much and it wasnt fair to the actual winners. Only in this day in age a athlete is more known for her sexiness than her actual talent. Its a shame and lolo never once congratulated the winners.

Lolo Jones was a huge jerk. I get thst you lost the race, but you should have congratulated your teammates. The Olympics are about sportsmanship. She didn't show it in London and Beijing.

In this case, humility is honesty. Humility is admitting that you're happy to have won the gold medal but that you realize you only won due to the better athlete clipping the final hurdle.

Well said. It's obvious these two aren't the best of friends. But if that happend to me and the girl, who was the Gold Medal favourite and leading the race and clipped the hurdle, two seconds from a Gold Medal, and virtually gifted me the Gold, I couldn't just sit there and pretend it didn't happen, you would be gracious and acknowledge it. Dawn goes on about God, like they all do, but when it comes to the crunch, they are just hypocrites.

There was no "gifting" here. Part of running the hurdles is actually clearing the hurdles. Dawn cleared hers. Lolo didn't. Dawn won Lolo lost. This is not the 100m it's the 110m *hurdles.*

wow it's weird reading a couple of these comments, saying dawn harper is not humble! in my job i have to monitor media, including loads of talkback sports shows etc. down here in australia, there are sooooooo many people loving dawn harper, & a word that keeps coming up is 'humble' - when she won silver in london last week, her reaction was beautiful, & she also showed genuine respect & happiness for sally pearson who won gold. loads of people here saying it is one of their fave olympic moments.

RACISM is why. here in the usa, lolo is viewed as "white passing". So they want the CLOSEST thing to WHITENESS at the forefront. lolo is 50% white and they promote her HEAVILY until the next biracial comes to the scene.

Notice how in this interview that the champion (Dawn Harper) is being address @2:22 but the camera stayed fixed on LoLo even after Dawn Harper begins to speak. And why ask Harper if she noticed Lolo falling but not ask Lolo about noticing Harper winning? Wow the media is really going sycophant over this Lolo Jones girl.

I think that was the camera guy's fault. Because the same thing happened to Lolo as well she was speaking and the camera was fixed on Dawn near the end of the interview.

@mouloudo,if u was paying attention Dawn said she ran her race to the best of her ability while not focusing on what Lolo or anybody else was doing. U say she should be humble cause Lolo was winning, well guess what, Lolo CHOKED down the strectch and hit a hurdle, thats like have the lead in a basketball game by 10 pts with a minute left and lose. Btw Dawn bcked it up in the 2012 Olympics and won silver, where's Lolo tears of joy with her fake great attitude, oh in the fairy tales... Oan did sh

How in the hell can you judge someone from a ridiculous reality show? Cooped up in a house for a month with a bunch of egos, you try and be normal. LoLo doesn't put up with shit from people! That's all! She had a tough upbringing, domestic abuse, homelessness, Alcoholic dad in jail most of her childhood, give her some slack!

What makes you think that Dawn Harper didn't have struggles to get to where she is? She grew up in one of the poorest cities in America and worked harder that Lolo Jones to succeed and doesn't have a chip in her shoulder. She's done it with grace, class and a positive attitude.

Dawn only won because of Lolos spinal chore issues. Lolo was the real winner. I´m sorry to say so. Obviously they´re both great athletes. Personally.. If I would be in Dawn boots, I would only feel like I just got lucky this time, that I wasn´t the real winner. I would know that other person was about to win and she just got unlucky. Therefore I was the second best.
