Lolo is not an anomaly. There are women and men who are over 40 that have not had sex. Sometimes it's high standards, religion, not a lot of opportunity and sometimes people just have no interest. I applaud her for being open and honest about her choice. I actually hope that young people are inspired to wait for the right partner because sex isn't a sport. Sex is and was meant to be our sacred gift.

@@jclyntoledo There are a lot of 40 year old women still dating without kids right now. People respond by saying things like "You'll meet the right one, it'll happen, and you'll have kids before you know it so don't give up". What sets her apart is her virginity. Because she's a virgin people see her at fault for not having the family and kids she desires. People see her as a woman that isn't actually "trying".

This is amazing to watch, as a 33-year-old virgin. It's something I'm very proud of and I'm so happy to see that there are other women doing the same. It's so sad that doing something so virtuous receives such criticism. You really begin to see how accurate biblical prophesies are- what's wrong will be considered right, and what's right will be considered wrong. Being promiscuous, under the notion of exploring your sexuality, is praised these days.

Exactly. People think it’s hard getting a man or getting married. It isn’t. I know men looking for papers that marry very quickly and the women they marry think it’s for genuine reasons. Going around screaming ‘my husband’. And then years down the line they break up and she’s soo shocked even though family or friends told her. Btw break up always happens once he gets the papers of course. But I digress. It’s not hard to get a man/ husband. It’s the quality. I know many women just end up desperate. Settle and are miserable. Women no longer want that nor have to put up with it.

Our hyper-sexual society tells us that sex is the be all end all of life. IT IS NOT. I got married at 34 and the partnership is way more important than the sex. If you don’t want to have sex before marriage or until later in life; it’s not a big deal. And no one should be stigmatized for it. Having sex later and with one/few partners saves you from heartache, disease, and unwanted pregnancy.

Girl, I’m married but I’ll tell yah, if I could turn back time, I wouldn’t do this now or at 40. I don’t care. I would be single my entire life. It’s not all its all that. It’s not for me. I feel Bad for my husband. I definitely could go the rest of my life. I do have moments where I wonder if I would be more open and up for this life if I had more experience but I’m not sure. Anyway, God bless you all. Keep strong.

@@norahelaine6041 I'm single and so grateful for your perspective. I sometimes feel weird because I feel like I enjoy my time alone and think about what a crappy wife I'd be because I'm tired all the time. Sometimes I feel like weirdly, I know I won't enjoy married life but I feel like I can't have that opinion because I've never been married. Is the intimacy really not that great? I worry about things like that too 😕
@norahelaine6041
@norahelaine6041 Жыл бұрын
@@hustlemami8732 I understand, dear. Life on a whole is just really hard in many facets. Remember, marriage is bringing two people together and trying to operate in unison as one. It is very difficult. Anytime you involve someone other than yourself in any capacity it gets difficult and require work to ensure feelings are considered, mutual respect, etc. Doesn’t matter the relationship. It could be friends, student-teacher, employee-boss, it doesn’t matter. They require different level of effort and care but the gist of what I mean is that anytime you have to consider someone outside yourself, and this is almost 100% of the time as nobody is an island, it’s not easy whether personal or professional. People have different principles, values, ideas, strengths, desires, etc. so you’re trying to blend two things so it function seamlessly and that’s not always easy, naturally. I believe men and women are clearly designed to work (biologically) with each other. That’s the very foundation of humanity. Yet at the same time I feel they are inherently and ironically designed not to work/they clash. I don’t know how to put it but I’ve observed and I saw that men are generally happiest with men and same for women. I don’t mean homosexuals, I mean men being in the platonic/friendship company of men. Same with women. The two sexes understand each other and are happiest with each other in general terms. For example, my best friend is a female and I love her so much. Again, as a sister and friend (nothing I say here is in reference to anything homosexual). She would be the perfect man for me if she were a man based on her mindset, principles, attitude, etc. I could live with her without any complaints etc., just a perfect match and i could see us being happy the rest of our entire lives. I’m sure a man and his best friend feels the same way except they would likely need sex from a woman. My friend and I could go the teddy of our lives without sex and we are only 31. Speaking in general terms: I’ve also come to understand that women are much more emotional beings. We do not value sex. We value emotional connection which for us will pave the way for sex/intimacy and make it enjoyable. Men seem to not grasp this idea effectively. Men don’t require intimacy for them to want and enjoy sex. They can do it on the fly if the desire arise. This is typically not so for women. We need that emotional stimulation for literally the vagina cavity and all our sex/reproductive members to be activated and open for pleasure. The emotional connection comes when the brain is stimulated and that part is activated triggering the response from these members and it all works in unison and we’re happy. I would guess that except for pornography, this doesn’t happen for women without the emotional component being fulfilled. This doesn’t need to be something elaborate like buying flowers and a whole show. It could be just something simple. For instance, in marriage, most of the household duties still fall solely on the women, which is one of the number one reasons women are always tired and complaining, some divorcing. Because most today in America at least, they still work 40hr week and still have to manage childcare and house. These women are dealing with so much over and over everyday and still expected to be hot and ready for sex. It doesn’t work that way and although some women may be able to cope and look past that emotional connection just so their husband’s needs can be met, it doesn’t mean they’re happy. Believe me. One way to stimulate the emotional process for women in this scenario would be if for example the husband cleans up after the child, helps around the house, wash dishes after dinner, I don’t know…anything to let the woman feel valued, helped and appreciated. She would be more inclined for intimacy come night or whatever. If the family has no children, same thing. If husband can respect things that matter to her, be a bit more helpful around the house, make her feel good during the day and not just at night when he wants sex. There’s a lot to say on this great matter but from my perspective, that’s my belief and assessment. Some men have a high sex drive and have that desire many times per week. I have found that most women are the opposite. So again, nature showing us how opposite we are yet design to work. Seems like a losing battle from the start of you ask me. In closing, I would say if you have doubts and it’s greater than your desire to marry, absolutely 100% do not do it. It’s not fair to the man to suffer. I really wish I felt the other way for my husband because he is a good man. The best man, but I just can’t force myself or my body to feel that drive. I have tried but I 100% love him. Just not that into intimacy which is very sad. I am and was a Christian at the time so we never slept around and got to know this until we were already married. That’s what I meant by my original reply on this comment. That I have periods where I wonder if I had done so prior, if my sex life would be better now. I am not sure but I trust God to help us here. I’ve said a lot but I wanted to be honest and truthful from my perspective. I wish someone had been candid with me before.

@@hustlemami8732 Now more than ever I understand that scripture where Paul stated if you’re single and can bear it, do it. I think some of my values changed with age and unfortunately, opposite from my husband’s so it makes the union more difficult now. Marriage I would say is not the worst of it all because you can obviously divorce (not good and not something that God likes) but it’s possible. The bigger issue is if you have children. That is the worst part about a failed marriage. Something you can’t “take back” without causing irreparable damages. FINAL NOTE: Marriage can truly be a blessing, still hard work with all I’ve mentioned. With the right person, it definitely is a benefit. I think if I were single I’d want to experience marriage. Now that I am, I’d want to experience living life as a single although that only lasts a short time in thought. I really do love my husband and our child. They’ve given me a deeper meaning me purpose. I definitely don’t feel like I am missing anything in the world. I was boring and a loner anyway so it’s nice now. I have fun, do things, etc. They give me joy but I still get upset sometimes. I was always clean now I have to pickup after people. It’s not easy again going back to what I said: blending of more than one. Overall, I don’t regret them. I truly don’t but if I get another chance at life of picking again, I wouldn’t do neither marriage nor motherhood. I would take easy way out because it’s just so much easier being alone and not having to consult anyone. The reason I say this is because I like simplicity and I could live in a tent in the woods to avoid working to pay mortgage etc. my husband is not. Kinda typical of most men with that built in drive to work and establish. We just have different core values. I wish you all the best in life. ❤️

I got married a virgin at 23 years old. My first son turns 18 this year. The wait was well worth it, 4 children and my marriage is solid in Christ Jesus. Love built without sex is solid. I did it for self-respect and because I later became a Christian. Lolo is a lovely, fit, beautiful woman. Many girls/women are still virgins and society should respect that, especially for our young ones. My 16 and almost 18 years old have made it clear to their friends that they are not having sex and their friends find it strange. It shouldn't be strange. The stigma is sharing your body with others that you tie your soul to.

@ComeliteKang please freeze this year! Most doctors will let connect you to a payment plan if you need it- and depending on the doctor-they will NOT freeze eggs after you turn 42 or once you turn 43. AFTER 42 you you have to make embryos- not a lot if people know that. I think I’ll make a video about that. The needles are tiny I’m not sure why they’re saying that it’s painful it may be because they don’t have any fat on their stomach but when it goes into the fat they are so tiny you barely feel it… the pain comes from the bloating once the eggs - - and multiple eggs start growing inside of you

People are talking about her being later blessed with the family she always desired and that's amazing, that is what we all hope for her. However I want to make it clear that for us Christians, this behavior is not about bribing God for a later blessing. Even if it was the will of God for us to remain virgins for life and not have children, we would have still chosen to go by His Word, because it is important to us to please Him above everything else, even our own hopes and dreams. Faith is not meant to be understood by people who don't have it. It seems crazy to outsiders. But we know what we believe in and we know how important it is for us to stay the course. I'm 32, Single and celibate since 2016 and waiting for my hubby. I can understand that she's waiting on God's best, the dating scene as Christians is hard. Loved her vulnerability

I love the Tamron Hall show. Nothing but interesting people and good stories worth sharing. I haven't seen one show that doesn't deliver a good dose of a special medly of entertainment, education,inspiration and just plain Ol humanity with a twist of fun. Great Show! 👍👌🍿

What is hard is finding a man who is honest, loyal and trustworthy. I’m in my 40’s and still haven’t met such a man. If I would have wanted someone tall, dark, with great career bla, bla, bla yes all possible but at the same time this man having an honest character, heart and beautiful soul, fing impossible. I’m not even looking anymore. I prefer to give myself all the love, energy and beautiful life before dealing with AHs.

I wish her the best. I like that she says she wants to raise the child with a partner. I'm surprised that with her accomplishments and personality she hasn't found the one yet. Good for you, Lolo, in taking your life in your hands.

Agree. You would think she has come across another Christian athlete that has the same interest and values .

Right. I'm very surprised that at 40 years old and as pretty as she is, she hasn't found someone that could live up to her standards. You would think she has the pick of the litter looking the way she does.

@@DH-uw3us Most likely she is easily annoyed by people and looking for someone who believes and behaves just like her in all aspects of living.

I love that women can make the choice to be a virgin, celibate, or sexually active. This is how it should be. As a woman, I LOVE sex and was sexually active before marriage. I didn’t have a crazy amount of partners, but I learned what I want, like, and how to truly experience pleasure. WOMEN HAVING CHOICES!!!! That’s the KEY!!!!

I think she’s amazing for sharing her story and more power to her, people would rather you do any and everything demeaning to sang your praise. I’m reading these comments and they’re so many Virgins out there Big Up to all of you that aren’t 🐑 but are people who live in YOUR truth. That’s awesome and something to cherish!

God's got a way of confounding the wise. Keep believing in Jesus and the purpose and plans He has for you Lolo. God can change anything faster than the blink of an eye. I prayed for your heart's desires and God will answer according to His will. Get ready sis!
