This is my birth town , during childhood i used to run around that Bursa castle and tumb of Osman and Orhan r.a !! there is also Grand Bazar Close to Grand mosque( inside you can find any kind a textile , goods , spicies on and on ) about 800 years old , also Kozahan which is one of the oldest silk Bazar in world still activly open. You should visit bursa coz there is other 8 sultan graves , with alot ulama tumbs also basicly where döner kebab orginally born , also great nature which Turks call it "Green bursa" and sure History !! Much love enjoyed !!

Bursa, my hometown, where I grew up... Had a chance to visit last summer for three weeks after 16 years. One of the best cities of Turkiye with ton of places to visit, and experience.

First of all, I would like to thank you. While watching your video, I remembered that Bursa was occupied by the Greeks after the First World War. I remembered that General Trikopis went to the tomb of Osman Gazi and said, "O Osman, we have come to take this city back from you." I remembered that Atatürk laid a black sheet on the rostrum of the parliament and did not enter the parliament until Bursa was liberated from occupation. I hope that people in these lands will be reacquainted with Islam, which they have forgotten.

As a Turkish man with history education i can say that Bursa is one of the uniqe city in Türkiye ,u can feel Ottomans legacy at the old city center ,if u are lucky u can see some real Ottomans ,city has different aura , shadows of Ottoman Empire and souls of sufi darvishs are living there together

Thanks very much.. It would have been great to include Muradiye, where a large number of the later family members are buried including the mother of Sultan Fateh. Also, Sheikh Edibi, spiritual teacher of Osman Gazi buried 80 km north east. Emir Sultan, the heart of Bursa. iskendar kebab. Pideli kofte. Milk pudding dessert.

I found it incredibly busy and crowded. I'm hoping to see other parts like Fetiyeh. Id like to move to a Muslim country but not sure where would feel right. Scotland has always been home, for better or worse. Its difficult to make a move as a single middle aged Muslim woman. Would love to have a chat with you and exchange thoughts. if u want to see turkish islamic culture dont visit touristic towns Side of egean or mediternean because they think of you as money or costumer..but traditional cities will tink of you as a quest more respect.but if u want beach sun ocean you can go so nice but my big advice dont be so close with domestic men who wanna insist to talk to you some of them May stupid or problem they will think of you as a pasaport to move in europe

Selamun Aleykum Lauren, I watched your other videos when you were a broadcaster for England about how Western Countries and Israel treats Palestinians, after you seen how the Muslim people were sharing their food even though they didn't have enough for their selves. Yo couldn't understand how every Western Countries were talking about Muslim people when you see really how they were you decided to be come a Muslim because what they really believe in their heart and how they treat people even though they dont know them. As long as you believe and trust ALLAH everything will be fine May ALLAH be with you!
