Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

Great idea ! In Serbia couple of female lawyers geathered to help women with the similar issues during the birth. What you describe here Kylie is violence and abuse, so definitely some lawyer should be involved. Very primitive hospital culture and very downputting, I feel so sorry for all the women who were in the situation to experience this kind of attitude. The problem is as much as in Serbia to change the conservative and abusive hospital culture that has been allowed to stay for decades. When you soon get over this traumatic experience dear Kylie, you may get currage and energy to do something about it for the good of all the future mothers and their safety at birth. Much love Maja

Hi Kylie, I am Italian and I know what goes on in hospitals, particularly in Calabria. I am astounded to hear that you were treated in this way in Tuscany where, typically, the hospitals are better managed. I agree with most of the comments and encourage you to lodge a formal complaint, given your profile and your reach. Not for revenge but for the fact that a woman giving birth needs compassion and care, not to be be subjected to cruelty. I am so happy to hear that Gianfranco is healthy and beautiful. Get better soon. Tanti auguri 💙

Great idea yet Will administrators see it? I am sure they have nasty people channeling complaints too. I cannot believe no one has formally complained before! Italian medical (Through the government?) I would think make it difficult to do much. Maybe the medical experience of many are also why so many young Italians are leaving??? I think a more immediate response may be for many of us, especially if you are Italian, to send in letters, emails of disappointment to administration. The more they get, the more embarrassed they may become. Of course only with Kyle's approval. Does Italy also have privatized hospital hours? Privatized staff? Also the fact that a husband cannot come in due to (post shot) covid is absurd!!! It would have helped Kyle (and nurse from hell) to have support in the pre-birthing room. Time to start a new hospital experience! USA has its medical issues but nothing I have encountered like this. No Monitor? Also fasting? How strange. Do they do "bleeding "also? Dark ages! Oh and Kyle I want the name of your shampoo!💇. Beautiful Hair!!

Kylie, I know I’m echoing so many others here, but I’m so sorry for how traumatic and painful this experience was - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - you absolutely deserved better treatment, as did the other new mothers around you. As you said, though, thank God you were in that hospital (horrible though it was overall) so that you could be treated right away after giving birth. In addition to your husband, son, parents, sister, and so many others, there are hundreds of thousands of people around the world who are beyond grateful that you’re still with us. It sounds silly, but I think that, on some deeper level, your son knows the strength that his mother showed and the compassion that his father showed. I like to think that he’ll carry those things with him for the rest of his life. All of my love to you, Guido, and your precious new baby boy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing to share your light with us. You are a lamp illuminating the darkness that so often makes up the realities of our world. I'm a father of 4 children all grown, but was at the birth of them all here in the US. The labor and delivery nurses were super professional and encouraging. They knew what to do well in advance of the doctor coming in and doing a cameo role. I would have lost my cool with this kind of treatment of my wife. I am so glad that they staunched the bleeding and you're alive and well. It's a miracle that you were able to continue to breast feed the baby while all this transpired. For my first child, my wife's back gave out and she couldn't produce milk. I'm in awe that you could do so while being in the hospital. BTW it's not that important that we see the baby. He's yours to enjoy solely. I wish you a steady recovery and in time you can enjoy all that is around you!

At this point in the pandemic, it seems to me there would be no danger to allowing the father to be with his wife during the entirety of the patient's time in hospital? If anything, her husband would be there to comfort her thruout taking alot of work off the hospital's back. Granted, they allowed him in at the end but should've been allowed to be with her thruout.

No one should ever be mistreated like you were! This is horrific to say the least. I can’t imagine going through such, both of my births were so easy compared what you described. To me it sounds like not only the verbal abuse but the trauma you endured caused your pain and discomfort. As a mother of two your baby needs burping after each feeding because they can’t get the air and gas out on their own until they are able to sit properly by themselves. It causes their lil tummies to contract and hurt. That woman is evil to say that to you. She knew it would be hurtful not only to your baby but would hurt you knowing you weren’t capable at first to do what needed to be done. Always follow your motherly instincts. Kylie…. Your story is so incredibly moving in a truly heart crushing manner … I can’t imagine anyone ever treating a mother in labor or really any vulnerable situation so cruelly. Your story sounds like something out of the “Handmaids Tale” and is truly horrifying. You have prepared yourself well to take on challenges and have such a circle of loving arms and hearts around you to help carry you through the challenges in life and yet the cruel treatment towards you was clearly so dreadfully traumatic. There are so many women in this world who don’t have such support and need compassion any way they can get it. Please continue to allow your loved ones and especially you to nurture yourself. This is so important for a new mother. I hope Guido and you are floating with all that comes with being new parents 😊. I hope that Guido will file a complaint and continue to make noise to make those cruel nurses and OBs accountable for their actions. Perhaps other vulnerable mothers who need advocates might be spared such cruelty. I am so sad to hear your story lovely Kylie but I know the miracle of your baby will infinitely dull the trauma and fill you with healing love and joy. Bless you and your family. ❤

Didn’t even know I had a baby, because they overdosed me. Insane!!! Perfect pregnancy, horrible birthing experience for me. I’m sitting here listening to you and tears are rolling down my face. You will cry over it for a while. I know I did. And, lol, I only have 1 child. I was like never again. I absolutely love being a mother, but there was no way I could do it again. But that’s me. I keep hearing these horror stories of hospital abuse towards women in labour and during the post partum stage all over the US and many other countries. Hospitals today are becoming more like prisons, and mental asylums where a person would go to simply be tormented and abused! I'm a strong advocate for home birthing or birthing in natural habitats( in the forest, near the oceans, etc) Please don't ever give up in having more children. Screw the hospital and adopt you're own birthing plan with a strong supportive doula, midwife and your'e husband at your side!

Dearest Kylie, I watched this video in awe of how strong, brave and beautiful you are. It's incredibly powerful to hear about your birthing experience and I truly believe that you had many angels watching over you & your little one the whole time you were at this horrible hospital. It's inspiring to hear how intuitive you were to block out all that negativity being directed at you. You are so blessed & protected, and you are Queen and a class act for the way you handled everything! These so-called nurses & doctors who treated you this way will sadly continue to do this to other new moms unless they are exposed in a more formal way, so I hope you guys file a complaint with the hospital and the courts there. I'm sure the local news media there might also be interested in doing a story about this. I could even see you writing an insightful article about this yourself and submitting it to a local newspaper and/or a more national media outlet. You have an important voice and story here to share that should be heard by everyone. I realize you may not want to deal with any of this right now which is understandable, but at some point, I hope you pursue some of kind of legal action with the Italian authorities. I believe that when we stand in our truth, we light the way for others and we help heal each other. We as women have been silenced for far too long and it's extra sad to hear about female medical professionals who abuse women patients like this. It's toxic and it's unacceptable that they think it's ok to traumatize women like this. Also for what it's worth, I believe that even you doing this video here and being so forthcoming about your experience with us will shed a very important light to this issue and it will be healing. You are a masterful communicator and you are so eloquent. Your beautiful energy, spirit and light brings people together. We are here for you and we love you and we are so proud of you for being you. So sorry for your birth story. I am a labor nurse near Boston. We would NEVER treat a person like that. Our nurses, obstetricians and midwives are amazingly respectful and caring. You had every right to call your husband. We always allowed partners into labor and delivery all through COVID unless the partner had COVID. If the partner couldn’t be there then another coach would be allowed. That labor unit has an abusive culture and this needs to be changed. I can’t sleep at the moment. It’s 1:45am in Florida USA. And I’ve paused this 8mins in to say how incredibly sad it makes me about how you were treated. How awful Kylie. I am so very sorry. I’m not sure how things progressed yet bc I am only 8mins in, but I had to pause it to say how sorry I am this happened. Restarting the video. I‘ll add more as I watch the rest. But, I’m so very happy you are back home now. ❤️ Ok, I made it to the end. I didn’t think it would get worse, but sadly it did. I am So very happy the actual birth was healthy and the baby is also very healthy. That is the most important. And that you are safe and home now. But my God Kylie, what you went through is absolutely heart breaking. I found myself getting enraged listening to how they treated you. I truly can’t believe how awful they were. What an absolute nightmare. All I could think is, how much mental trauma they’ve caused to you and other mothers as well, I am sure. You are so incredibly strong physically but even more so mentally. I’m not sure most women could have gone through what you did and made it out ok. And I know you will just get stronger and be able to move forward and be ok. Because you are so strong. But I wonder how many other Mothers are still dealing with the lingering mental strains of having that kind of treatment. I am rambling because I just can’t put into words how I am feeling right now. I think as soon as you’re feeling better, you and Guido should make a formal complaint. Don’t let this go. Because something needs to be done. It may help the next mother after you. If I lived there I swear I’d be down at that hospital raising hell on your behalf. And I’d have some words for those awful women. Praise God for the cleaning lady who helped you and the baby. And praise God you are such a phenomenal strong women. I’m sure that’s what got you through all that. I’m just so happy you made it through, and you and the baby are doing better and you are getting the care and love you need and deserve now at home. After all that, the rest of the weeks ahead will be a breeze! I’m just so proud of you Kylie. Your baby and Guido are so fortunate to have you. And please thank Guido for being so wonderful during and after the birth. This experience is going to make you even stronger than you already are. What an incredibly beautiful women you are Kylie. Be PROUD of yourself. We are all certainly PROUD of you. God Bless you, the baby, Guido and your families. I hope this all doesn’t sound too incoherent. It is now 2:45am and I’m a, starting to nod off. But I wanted to finish my comment. At any rate, I hope you have all the love and care you both need. Your joy in your baby will multiply daily. Much love!

Hi Kylie, I am so sorry about the total unnecessary stress you were subjected to during your birth story. But what a trooper you are. Congratulations!!! I wanted to share with you that Candance Owens posted her birth story on her channel about month ago of having her daughter here in America and how she had to also "break" out early from the Hospital with the help of her husband because how the hospital staff conducted themselves. I am so glad you posted your story and she did too. What you both went through needs to stop. Thank God you were so Strong. Blessings to you and Guido and baby Gianfranco...nice name.

PLEASE report them!!! That behavior is appalling and horrendous! They should not be doing the work they are doing and I’m shocked they are able to get away with it. Please report them and help other women. I don’t know how you got through that, you are so incredibly strong! I hope for better days ahead for you and your family and I hope other women don’t have to deal with those people again.

I started crying because this is so beautiful that your little one is with you but not how this entire experience should have gone. I really hope you file a formal complaint against these women because they should not be in the medical field their behaviour is going to get someone killed. I am so glad that you are so strong mentally and physically. Congratulations to both of you on your beautiful little one!

I was hospitalized while on a trip to Tuscany 3 years ago, I am NOT surprised at your treatment; I had a similar experience, medical care there is not even close to acceptable or up to modern standards. I’m sorry you had to experience it also. I too couldn’t wait to get out of that hospital!

Hey Kylie, I'm a nurse from the United States and I am absolutely appauled by how you were treated! Their behavior was unacceptable and I'm so sorry you had to experience that and be treated in such a horrible manner. I could never imagine treating one of my patients or anybody that way, especilaly in such a vulnerable state. Also, the way they neglected you and didn't listen to you throughout the expierience is incredibly unsafe and I'm still shocked by the course of events you described. I'm sending you love from Utah and I wish your little family the best!

I’m a midwife in Australia and I’m so so sorry you experienced such terrible treatment for your birth. It’s unacceptable behaviour from the staff, midwife/nurse and doctor. I haven’t even watched your full video but I wanted to write to you. You are so strong and powerful. You did it! You got through that experience. It’s such a shame you were not supported as you should have been. Sending you so so much love ❤️

First, Kylie, Congratulations! You are a warrior woman! Second, there is absolutely NO excuse for the way you were treated, to be isolated from your support system and then so cruelly bullied and gaslighted at every turn. Sadly, this tyranny is a feature and not a bug within the medical industrial complex, designed to push medical intervention. It’s all about power and money and it is an utter disgrace! So much respect to you for soldiering through an experience that many women would have fallen victim to. Perhaps you can be a vehicle to raise awareness and demand reform, because pregnancy and childbirth are not a disease but rather a spiritual and life changing experience that deserves to be holistically supported.

I don't often comment but I had a similar incident with one nurse many decades ago when my son was born. No one deserves to be treated like that EVER! To be treated like that by such wicked people, nurses to boot! I am so sorry you had to go through such a nightmare for such a miraculous time in your life. Congratulations on the birth of your son. Great job Kylie, you will be a great Mom.

Kylie, I'm so sorry to hear this! But I also unfortunately know that you're not the only one... If you want to know more, there's an Italian KZfaqr, Iris Babilonia, who spoke about her own terrible experience in the hospital. She also started to collect similar stories and she tells those in a series of videos on her channel (Orrori in sala parto). This horrible thing has a name, and it's violenza ostetrica, and is unfortunately very common in Italy... I hope you're doing better and you'll manage to get through this ugly, traumatic experience. Sending you love Un grandissimo abbraccio a tutti voi ❤️❤️❤️ Ps: you should definitely file a complaint, it's an important step to stop this kind of unprofessional behavior. So many women decide not to, and they don't even want to speak about this because of the trauma and the shame they feel, even though they are the ones who were abused. And this was abuse. It was negligence. It was abuse of their power and their working position.
@Julia29853
@Julia29853 Жыл бұрын
Yes it was abuse. They need to file a class action lawsuit. They could use the proceeds as seed money to start a natural birthing center with midwives and with doctors on staff available for emergencies.

@@knightsbridgedentalcarelon2425 Honestly, I have no idea. Burocracy in Italy is... weird. Not knowing the names of the nurses/doctors involved make it difficult to report abuse, because public hospitals cover their bums. There are many victims who tried to sue, I think there are some associations trying to bring this to the public eye, but in Italy there's the tendency to "sweep problems under the rug"...

As a labor and delivery nurse in the US, my heart breaks for you that that was your experience! 😭 no woman should ever have to endure that kind of treatment, especially during such a vulnerable time. They definitely don’t seem like they are up to date on best practices. I’m so happy you and baby are both happy and healthy. Your body has been through so much. I am glad you are home, and that you and your family are well. Kylie, it's important that you file a complaint. If other women before you would have filed a complaint, it may have prevented you from having this horrifying experience. Now, you have a chance to help prevent other women from experiencing this. As well, it will be a step towards these toxic women getting the consequences they need because no emotionally stable person would enact this kind of cruelty on another. Kylie, I'm so proud of you & crying watching this 💜 I'm a third year student British midwife and I am outraged & sickened to hear of your experience, even more so because I'm a new first time mama too with a five week old baby boy. (We had our baby moon in Florence in the spring, inspired by you). You are so incredibly strong & to have laboured under those bullish conditions, I have heard how medicalised Italy can be & I'm just so sorry you had people who didn't believe or trust in your body, but how strong in mind and body you are to trust yourself in spite of everything 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 You could talk to a doula or midwife and debrief your birth. Can't believe they still have those crazy COVID rules,,,, Wept when you mentioned the kindness of the nurse. I had my baby boy at home surrounded by my husband, parents and friends and midwives and truly could not have gotten through without their kindness, words and support (and the water from the pool). I kept thinking of all the women in the world who didn't have that support and it made me cry, my midwife had to keep reminding me not to focus on it. Kylie, you birthed your beautiful son and you should be so proud, may these early days and the months and years to come be filled with so much tenderness, nourishment and blessed moments. Prayers for healing, rest and peace over your new blooming family, well done super woman!! You are surrounded with beauty which truly brings rest and restoration for the soul, mind and body. So much love 💞
