how can Canada afford loosing thausands of Indian Student as 41 officers of Canada kicked out of India and 3/4 counslate temprorily closed its operation means slow visa process. Indian student not only pump pure$ in Canada's economy but also pumps young English speaking workforce , nowhere else in world you will get English speaking Students in such a huge number who can afford studying in Canada and willing to study in Canada. trade deficit of India Canada not so much it will not benefitial for both, but Canada's Economy will be harmed more in long term if relations with India not restored

I am a Punjabi from Delhi. My Paternal Grandmother was a Kashmiri Sikh, and two cousin sisters from my maternal sides are married in Sikh Families...... We have (inmediete/close) family Unions / functions where about 10% to 25% are Sikh relatives in turbans I have never felt anything different from Sikhs.... In fact, we never feel like two religions.... Gurudwara Visits among Punjabi Hindus are as important as Temple Visit (though after moving abroad, I am not able to go to either now for the past decade). My elder brother did his schooling from Khalsa School in Karol Bagh area. He knows Gurmukhi and ardas like the back of his hand, and had been actively participating in Gurpurab Marches (he played Flute in the musical marching band), during and even after School. I don't understand, where is this Difference (if any) cropping up from??

As a Canadian I am embarrassed to have a PM that acts so child like when his feelings are hurt. As a western Canadian I realize that most Canadian trade with India is with the west and that Trudeau could care less if our trade relationship is damaged. If India wants to punish Trudeau can they please go after trade with Quebec and leave Western Canada out of it.

Their standards of freedom of speech is at a different level. Even the Ex DPM, when asked by Padmaja Joshi of TimesNow about the threats to diplomats and Indian citizens, answered that no assassinations have taken place so it need not be taken seriously. There are hints of racism, Hinduphobia and superiority complexes from the Canadian government spokespersons and other " well known " commentators.

Of course it's a delicate matter and we can't make any assumption considering Canada is a very close ally to US as well and is a neighbour.
