Canned refrigerated biscuits are delicious in this casserole and using them makes the whole process so easy… the trick is in the sausage gravy, and my recipe is out of this world perfect. The combination of bacon, sausage and onions with the nutmeg and seasoned salt makes it a winner. 3 slices thick cut bacon (chopped)
1/4 C. All purpose flour
2 1/2 C. Whole milk
1/8 tsp ground Nutmeg (or less)
3/4 tsp Season All seasoned salt (you adjust)
1/4 C. Finely chopped onions
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
Pepper as needed
2 Tbsp bacon grease
1 GRANDS Refrigerated canned Biscuits (8 )
Non STICK SPRAY
1 C. freshly grated Colby Jack Cheese (pick your favorite)
EGG MIXTURE-----------
6 large eggs
1/3 C. Whole milk
