It is very easy to explain that disordered describes an action which is not order toward God, our highest good (whether or not one recognizes Him as such), so it is therefore DISORDERED. If people take exception to that, there is nothing more that can be done. I use this language in my homilies often. I get emails from the usual suspects, but the message is thought-provoking for the majority.

There was a saint whom I forget her name, but she was a nun who was tested with certain sins such as anger towards another in her convent or jealousy, whenever tested with that sin, she always increased her behaviour in the opposing grace. Such as If she felt angry towards another nun, she would try to be extra nice to her instead. That is something I try to emulate. It's true! There should be more resources for those who are struggling. Retreats or more celibate lay vocations would be helpful. I think a lot of people are uncomfortable acknowledging that some people, such as yourself, have such a heavy cross to bear. In modern Catholicism, we are sometimes way too comfortable. We think that just the fact that we don't eat meat on Friday is too hard so we only do it in Lent now, and so people are hiding from the difficult sacrifices that the faith demands. Sacrifices like SSA people having to live a totally celibate life.
