Some years back I asked Daddy God why he gave me this heart. I found myself praying for my enemies being mistreated because I was so forgiven ( but broken) and helpful. I didn't understand it. But I had to go repent and fall on my face and now I know why I need to protect it now!!🙏💞

Distractions is one of the tactics of the enemy.

I learned how to guard my heart, I used to experience something unpleasant that someone said to me and I would carry things on my heart and take it home, but now when something like that happen I don't allow it the attach itself to my heart it's like baggage I don't need. plus I can't take that stuff with me to prayer, and when I got a new job I made sure it won't be set on my heart but rather only the lord for I don't want to worship a gift therefore I make sure nothing is on my heart except Jesus so it would be pure for worship but I would never allow anything to get on my heart but Jesus. Gossip contaminates the heart and other sinful acts therefore repentance is vital if one has participated in it. Be ye holy for I am holy.

Your teaching confirmed how we need to get rid of the distractions. The Lord has been dealing with and is helping me to limit the time I’m on social media. I notice how my spirit is a bit more calmer when I step away from social media. There’s so much stuff on social media that messes with your mind and spirit (consciously and subconsciously) and can contribute to anxiety and depression. God bless you for teaching this timely word!

This was so good!:When I first got SAVED in my early 20s, I was implementing God's word in my life. I called Ms goody two shoes and Ms perfect. And this by my peers in Christ! When I started doing what they were doing and not honoring God, things were chaotic in my life!! Stay this course and run the race even if ypur friends in Chriat are not! Most of them gossiped like a mug. I am not friends with these people today.

I learned a hard lesson a few days ago. Family is the most important people to guard against especially when substance abuse is so heavily endorsed amongst relatives. Remaining separate, prayerful, and not bitter. The hurt and reality 💔 to stop making excuses for them. I'm now focusing on my own journey giving all now to GOD. Taking responsibility for myself this includes my own heart ❤

Greetings, and Good Morning, Bishop and Family. This is such a powerful message and thought-provoking. I really enjoy these teachings. Thank you so very much, Pastor. How do you protect the vital dimensions of your being...that part of you where God operates...that part of you that's not superficial, but is spiritual...that part of you that is eternal...how do you guard that part..... What is the heart? In the Bible the heart is considered the seat of life or strength. It means your mind, your soul, your spirit or one's entire emotional nature and understanding. It's that immaterial part of you, your heart. Keep that part. The importance of making certain that you keep your heart, your emotions, your spirit, your soul clear and clean cannot be overstated. A) Your Heart authenticates you. You're not authenticated, not in the eyes of the only one that really matters, and that's God, until your heart authenticates you. You have to pass the acid test. You're not authenticated until you can pass the heart test. B) Your Heart qualifies you. For the things you say you desire, your heart qualifies you. Your heart is going to qualify or disqualify you. C) Your heart is the only part that really matters to God. We're more worried about the dress code than we are the hearts of people. You pass all of the religious testing, but how do you measure up on the scale of God? How do you keep your heart? 1) You keep your conversation. It's the content of your conversation that's polluting your heart. Your conversation is a reflection of your heart. Your conversation is also compounding your condition. Language attracts spirits. You speak evil, because it's in your heart, and it's in your heart, because it's all you speak. My language creates a direct pipeline to my spirit, and the language I use is impacting the condition of my heart. Your mouth is giving access to your spirit through your language. 2) I keep my heart by keeping my focus. This speaks of staying intentionally focused on godliness. When you fail to keep your light focused, you are jeopardizing the state of your own heart. Because when you start looking all around , your eye gets full of lust, and sin and jealousy and ambition and all of this other stuff that did not come necessarily from God. 3) I keep my heart by keeping my discernment. Stop rushing into situations believing that everything is as it appears. Ponder your path. Don't make your moves so quick. Discern before you make a move. Look deep before you leap. When you begin to live your life in a way that you keep your discernment front and center, you allow the Holy Spirit to guide your life by way of your spirit, you're keeping your heart. 4) You keep your heart by keeping your righteous resolve. Don't turn to the right or to the left. Don't look to the left or to the right then you'll make your way prosperous. When you live a life that's displeasing to God, you grieve God, and when God is grieved, He grieved you back. That's one of the signs that you've really been converted. You must live your life in a way that you avoid evil at all costs, and when you keep your righteous resolve, you're keeping your heart. Reference Scriptures: 1) Proverbs 4:23-27 2) Matthew 15:8-9 3) Numbers 14:22-24 4) 1 Samuel 16:7 5) Proverbs 4 is our base text and is a blueprint for keeping our hearts right before God. 6) Matthew 12:34-36 7) James 3:5-11 8) Matthew 6:22-23 9) Ephesians 5:15-17 10) Psalm 1:1-6 Saints, please pray for me as I pray for you!!!!
