Hi Biss, love your channel! My thought is just some songs should not be covered by another artist and this is one of them. This song is a dedication to a love and friendship between men that cannot be replaced. A cover can never do it justice nor should an artist even try. Just my opinion regarding a song that is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. Music is an emotion and your original reaction was genuine and sincere and heart moving. I usually enjoy covers, but if I was still an active musician, this is probably one song I wouldn't touch. Being a huge A7X fan, this one just feels too sacred to touch. Dimas did nail it at the ending though.
